What are the physical standards for military personnel in Russia?

Nowadays, the army is equipped with the most modern weapons, which do not need physical effort to work with. To deal with it, you just need to click on the desired button. However, if all combat stocks are exhausted, the military should engage in personal confrontation when victory depends only on physical fitness. In order to monitor the quality of military training, standards have been developed for physico for military personnel. They spell out all the training criteria for each type of troops.

In 2009, Order No. 200 was signed on the “Manual on Physical Training in the Armed Forces”, which has clear criteria for assessing physical fitness, depending on the group to which the military belongs and on his term of service.

For example, the approved physico standards for military personnel contain information about the following groups:

  • contract workers;
  • conscripts;
  • special forces;
  • university students;
  • officers
  • warrant officers.

Arriving soldiers according to the results of the assessment of physical fitness are allocated to duty stations. Within two weeks, they should demonstrate the following results:

  • pulling up on the crossbar - 10 times;
  • push-ups - 45 times;
  • 100 m run - 15 s;
  • cross 3 km - 14 min.

The same standards are provided for contractors under the age of thirty. It should be noted that training assessment should be carried out under favorable weather conditions. If the weather does not allow to comply with all requirements, then the check is carried out indoors.

When standards were developed for physo for military personnel, the general level of training of modern youth was taken into account, because hypodynamic and sedentary lifestyles lead to fatigue. Its symptoms should be known to physically assessing officers. This is a prerequisite for the timely termination of the exercise and prevent fainting.

Standards for Contractors

Requirements for physical training for contractors are higher than for conscripts. However, this takes into account age. For men under the age of 30, the same results are provided as for conscripts. An age group over 30 should be able to:

  • pulling up on the crossbar - 8 times;
  • push-ups - 40 times;
  • run (100 meters) - 16 s;
  • 3 km run in 15 minutes

These are standard requirements that are not surrendered by all military branches. In some of them, the physical level should be several times higher than that of conscripts. To find out what type of troops a candidate can claim, an assessment of his training is carried out. After that, it is determined which group of the three existing ones should be sent to the service:

  • Group 1 - Air Force, air assault, reconnaissance, special forces.
  • Group 2 - combat unit, combat support, radio mask;
  • Group 3 - material support services, medical services, submarine and surface troops.

Guidelines for women

Since not only men, but also women serve in the army, they also have developed physical standards for physicists under contract. They are divided into two groups: for those younger and for those older than 25 years.

Women under the age of 25 must:

  • pull up 12 times;
  • do 25 torso;
  • 100 m run must be completed in no more than 19 s;
  • cross a 3 km run in 25 minutes.

Women over the age of 25 should:

  • push up on the bar at least 10 times;
  • do at least 20 torso;
  • run 100 m in 25 seconds;
  • run 3 km in 30 minutes.

There are also standards for exercises that women are required to perform weekly.

Norms of medical indicators

During the physical training, the state of the employee is necessarily monitored by a medical professional. During the tests, blood pressure, heart rate, and NPV are measured for determining the load ceiling. Each category of candidates has its own indicators.

To make it easier to understand which group and with what indicators should pass the physical and physical standards for military personnel, it is necessary to know the limits of heart rate:

  • at low load: 125 beats and a minute for men of the 1st group and up to 120 strokes for men of the second group, up to 115 are allowed in the third, up to 110 in the fourth, and 105 in the fifth;
  • average physical load: the first group - up to 145, the second - up to 140, the third - up to 135, the fourth - up to 130, and the fifth - up to 125;
  • high load: the first group - up to 170 beats per minute, the second and third - 165, the fourth - 145, the fifth - 135.

The results of the tests are evaluated on points.

The level of preparation is assessed by performing the following groups of exercises:

  • endurance;
  • dexterity;
  • speed;
  • strength exercises;
  • applied military skills.

A complete list of exercises that are used for this is contained in Appendix 17 to the NFP 2009. When passing the standards, only part of them proposed in the list is fulfilled. It depends on the professional activity of the military and the place of his service.

Beginners pass running at different distances, pull-ups, swimming. Evaluation of the results is carried out on a 100-point scale. When passing perfectly, they can deliver from 75 points. A rating of "good" indicates minor errors and is rated from 60 points. A rating of “satisfactory” indicates uncertain passing of standards and is rated from 35 points.
