Where is the Kuzmolovskoye cemetery?

It is located in the Vsevolozhsk district of the Leningrad region on the territory of the village of the same name. The cemetery occupies a not very large territory, and recently there are practically no places for burial places within it. It should be noted that according to the reviews of citizens, the Kuzmolovskoe cemetery enjoys well-deserved attention in terms of atmosphere and level of services. However, according to information taken from open sources on the Internet, in 2016 a criminal case was opened against the cemetery administration for bribery on an especially large scale - for illegal sale of burial places.

How to get there

It is best to get to it by car from the Devyatkino metro along Leningradskoye Shosse to Yubileynaya Street, and then turn left onto Zaozernaya Street.

If there is no car, then you can get to the cemetery by suburban transport. This can be done from the same metro station "Devyatkino" on buses No. 619 and No. 621. Or from the metro station "Prospekt Enlightenment" or "Grazhdansky Prospekt" on bus number 205.

The working hours of the cemetery: every day, seven days a week, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

History of the Graveyard

The cemetery was opened in the post-perestroika years - in 1994. The place for burial was chosen very well - around coniferous forest, dry sandy soil, silence (the complex is located 11 kilometers from the highway).

Kuzmolovskoe cemetery has a European lawn and park layout and is divided into a wide avenue into two parts. Spruce and pine trees were planted along the alley, comfortable benches were set up. The lawns around are planted with grass, which, as it grows, is trimmed gently.

In the cemetery there are burials for people of different nationalities and affluence. The funeral and commemoration of the deceased Orthodox is held in the cemetery church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The cemetery administration also provided facilities for those who come here to remember their loved ones and take care of the graves: there is a water supply system, there is an access road and a parking lot, a bus stop, assistance is provided in decorating the graves. It is also possible to provide care services for the burial place by the cemetery staff.
