WHITE EGG BEAD WITH RED BELT

We will need:

- white transparent beads No. 6;

- matte red beads;

- nylon thread;

- wooden blank for eggs;

- scissors;

- needles for beads.

We begin by making a belt that weaves separately from the egg and then sews directly on the egg. We measure the girth of the egg blank in the widest place and determine the width of the girdle.

DIY beadwork

We fix the extreme bead by making a stop bead from it, tying the thread with a knot. Then we make a belt using the mosaic weaving technique according to the schemes. Weave a belt until it begins to grip the egg tightly. Then we wrap the workpiece so that an egg from beads gradually turns out. Itโ€™s better to stitch the belt directly on the workpiece itself. The number of beads on the right and left should be the same. We sew them in pairs between each other, tightly pulling the belt. Next, we work directly on the egg. Weave the bottom and then the top. After that, turn the egg over and attach the next row. The very last row will turn out not very smooth, but this is normal. He looks a little sticking out in a zigzag fashion.

Everything is fixable. From the back, we pass through it with a snake in the opposite direction. Continuing the work, we can notice that the previous bead row sits on the egg somehow not very tightly. We begin to reduce the next row. Instead of two beads, we sew only one.

As this series aligns, while we are passing through the egg with a snake in the opposite direction, it will be seen whether we did everything right. Are the beads beautifully in place, are there any holes. If the gaps still formed, then you can fix this by adding an additional bead to this place and choosing its size correctly.

We begin to weave the pattern through 5-6 rows from the girdle. We continue to braid the egg by the same principle, gradually decreasing the beads more and more and bringing it to nothing. Here the thread can be fixed and cut. And then once again fix on top. You can do differently by passing the thread through the rows up and braid the egg until the entire surface is covered with beads. After that, we collect more red beads on the thread and weave the bead thread about 25-30 cm long. Sew the ends of the threads on the sides of the egg, starting from the top. And decorate the egg, tying a bow at the top.
