Throughout life, we give several thousand of the most diverse gifts for numerous reasons. Birthdays, New Years, March 8th, weddings and the birth of a child are only an insignificant part of the happy moments, on the occasion of which presents are presented. But it’s not enough to give something, you need to know how to pack a gift beautifully.
In this case, it all depends on your imagination and the availability of improvised decorative materials. Having spent a lot of time choosing a gift, the issue of its design is usually postponed to the last moment. But this approach is not entirely true. It is gift wrapping that creates the first impression of the gift itself and brings aesthetic pleasure to both the giver and the birthday person. Therefore, you should consider how to pack a gift beautifully.
Using several techniques and a variety of materials, you can turn packaging into a real masterpiece. Let's look at a few options on how to pack a gift beautifully.
- Decoration from fabric. Material is a great option for decorating a gift box. It will take a square of dark satin and a gold mesh, a gold serpentine and a flower. We lay out a golden grid on the table. We lay on it a piece of the atlas face down and put a gift box in the middle. Raise each corner of the fabric with the mesh and connect them above the gift. Drape the box, hiding inside the tissue sections. With a piece of narrow tape, wrap the tail that is at the top. After that we cut off several strips of serpentine and tie them around the “tail”. Using scissors, curl the ends and nicely place them on the box, attaching them to small pieces of double-sided tape. The site of the serpentine knot is closed with a decorative flower or bow.
- You can beautifully pack a gift using small children's toys and wrapping paper. We need a sheet that is large enough to pack a gift box, children's dishes or a set of small cars, double-sided and simple narrow tape and a little imagination. We wrap the box and lid separately in wrapping paper, decorated with a children's print, fixing all the joints and edges with pieces of narrow tape. We close the box with a lid and glue upward the sections of double-sided adhesive tape, on which we install cars and road signs or items of children's dishes in random order.
- Quite often, the question arises before us: how to pack a gift for a man? The original way is to dress him in a shirt. Consider this type of packaging on the design of a bottle of wine. You will need a sheet of wrapping paper a little more than the height of the bottle, scotch tape and tie tape. We wrap the bottle in paper, leaving a small allowance at the bottom and a cut of 15 centimeters at the top. We fix the paper with pieces of adhesive tape. We bend the bottom allowance and fasten it with adhesive tape, closing the bottom of the bottle. Having retreated five centimeters from the top, we make small cuts on both sides for the shirt collar. We bend the lower sections inward along the oblique, forming sloping shoulders, and fix with tape. We bend the strip for the collar in half, directing the cut inward, and put a decorative ribbon between the layers of paper. We glue the edge of the collar with tape. We tie a ribbon in the form of a tie and cut the edges to the desired length.
- If you can’t figure out how to pack a gift beautifully, do it in an original way. Using boxes of different sizes, you can build a kind of nesting doll by hiding the gift in the smallest box.
