Modification TerraFirmaCraft was created specifically for the survival mode, in order to make it more realistic and complex. Recycling affected a wide variety of elements and features of the gameplay: the laws of physics, how the tools work, armor and much more. The game takes a completely different form, and users, in turn, must get used to the new conditions and rules. In addition, the modification is able to surprise with a new generation of the world and unique natural phenomena.
The main task of TerraFirmaCraft is to turn the already familiar survival mode into something more believable and challenging. The player has a long way to go, starting with a stick and a stone ax and ending with precious steel and a forged sword.
So that the new trip does not seem too complicated and incomprehensible, we have prepared a special TerraFirmaCraft guide for beginners.
First important resources
At the start of the game, it is important to stock up with all the necessary resources. We recommend that you look at the following items and materials (there are 6 of them in the guide on TerraFirmaCraft 1.7.10):
- Stones are the most common resource that can be found on the surface of the earth. Mainly used to create tools.
- Sticks are the second important resource that goes into crafting useful things like tools, torches and a bonfire.
- Clay is a useful material for various workpieces, in particular for jugs, pots and tools. To recognize clay is quite simple - usually yellow flowers grow on it.
- Straw - from this resource you can build your first home. It is also simply indispensable for firing various clay forms.
- Wood - the next important material is useful not only in construction, but also in crafting things. Wood is extracted from trees, which must be previously "cut down" with an ax.
- Copper - Copper nuggets are found on the surface of the earth as often as simple stones.
Stock up on the first tools
We continue to reveal secrets from the TerraFirmaCraft fashion guide. Among the tools that we should take care of creating in the first place, we can single out the following set:
For crafting tools, you need to stock up with enough stones (the more the better). We take a stone in each hand and “hit” it with the right hand on the ground. After that, an interface will open in which we can give the second stone the desired shape. The form is achieved by grinding off unnecessary parts - press the left button and “hit” the workpiece until it takes the desired shape. Thus, we get the working part of the future tool.
Finally, the last step is to place the working part on a stick. The shape of the finished tool will depend on what shape we gave the stone.
Roasting stove
After collecting important resources and creating the necessary tools, we recommend building a small shelter. Nothing exquisite - just a few walls to protect yourself from hostile mobs. Inside you can place our first kiln for firing, which is a 1-block pit dug in the ground. To create jugs and other vessels, it is necessary to stock up with clay balls. The whole crafting process is reminiscent of the tool creation process that we already mentioned in our TerraFirmaCraft guide.
Full oven
We turn to another type of stove, which is a kind of "upgrade" of the fire and needs a constant supply of coal and ventilation. Such a stove looks like 1 empty block (empty space), surrounded on all sides by four stone blocks (on the sides and bottom). The empty space is then filled with nine units of charcoal, and an ignitor is used on the underside. We advise you to use the ignitor several times until the air is converted into a furnace.
Anvil and metal processing
And the last for today, but no less interesting subject that we will examine in our TerraFirmaCraft guide is a stone anvil. It is created as follows: we take any hammer and hit it on the upper edge of the stone block. The anvil has its own unique interface, which is quite easy to learn.
Anvils in the game represent the only opportunity for metal processing. At first, you can use a stone anvil, and only then, when you can collect the necessary amount of copper, it will be possible to create a copper anvil.
