Almost every one of us, going into stores with sportswear or at the height of the summer season, more than once saw neat stacks of T-shirts without a single wrinkle, laid out as if on a ruler. Agree, it is difficult to imagine that sales consultants can fold a T-shirt in 2 seconds in the usual way, so that after a moment it will again have its original appearance. Even in such a thing as folding clothes, there are secrets, but they are known to few. This article will tell you how to quickly fold a T-shirt (and beautiful!).
First way
There are three folding methods in total. Let's consider them in order. The first method, the so-called "Chinese" (they always invent something!) Is the most popular, and perhaps only the most lazy have not had time to use it or even try it.
To fold a T-shirt, lay it in front of you and straighten it. Take the left hand in the middle of the right side, not far from the seam, and with the right hand - on the right shoulder. Then, without letting go of your shoulder, move your right hand from the same side down to the hem and at the same time also snap it. Now just pick up your t-shirt and pull your arms out in different directions. If you did everything correctly, then one sleeve will remain below. Just bend it to the bottom. Done! Second way
It is also called “Italian,” and is similar to the standard folding method, but twice as fast. Again lay the t-shirt in front of you along, but now grab it on one side with both hands at once: by the shoulder, closer to the collar and on the same line at the hem. This will result in a fold on one side of which the strip of fabric will be wider than the other. The smaller part (it is with the sleeve) should be behind the fold, and the larger part in front of you. Then bring your hands together, folding the T-shirt in half, and from the other end just grab your free shoulder and hem - they themselves will go towards each other. As in the first method, a sleeve will hang on one side, which will safely hide down. You can now tell your friends about this method so that they also know how to quickly fold a T-shirt “in Italian”.
Third way
Designed for those who are not looking for easy ways, well, or have such an extensive wardrobe that it will not be easy to manage without a special tool. For work, you will need 2 pieces of cardboard 25x72 cm, one 35x72 cm and another 25x36 cm, as well as adhesive tape (preferably thicker). Take the part 35x72 cm and glue to it with adhesive tape 2 parts of 25x72 cm so that they open and close like shutters. The distance between them should be equal to a piece of 25x36 cm, which is attached between the “shutters” in exactly the same way, and its upper part should coincide with their middle. Our device is ready. Now you need to throw a straightened T-shirt in there, wrap it up to half the sleeve, close the right wing first, then the left, and finally the lower one. T-shirt is folded! This method is less common, but among other tips on how to quickly fold a T-shirt, it is the most interesting and unusual.
Bonus Tip
And finally, we will talk about a special method for those who go on vacation, travel or camping. How to fold a T-shirt so that it takes up a minimum of space in a backpack or suitcase? It's simple: first wrap the sleeves, then the right side of the shirt to the width of the neck, and the same way the left. The clothes will be folded along three times. After that, from the side of the gate, begin to roll the resulting strip into a roll, and when you reach the end, tuck this “sausage” into the hem - so it will not unfold. That's the whole secret - now your t-shirts take up minimal space!
