The missions turned out to be very dynamic and entertaining, where the entourage is rapidly replacing each other, and interactive tasks increase the level of involvement in the game process. During the 6-7 hour campaign, we will visit different parts of the world, take part in night sorties, go through sniper chapters, and also arrange colorful chases on cars and boats. In general, a sea of ​​adrenaline is provided. Only partners disappoint who seem to be unable to shoot at all, but act only as walking navigators.

The single came out quite peppy, albeit fleeting. Of course, the fact that the script somehow copes with the explanation of what is happening is somewhat frustrating, and the characters are not remembered. Only the chic graphics performance lies in the memory, thanks to which the Medal of Honor Warfighter has very high system requirements, as well as dynamic tasks, a large arsenal of weapons and amazing sound quality, which maintains the proper atmosphere.

Multiplayer review

And what about multiplayer, you ask? Here, things look even more depressing than in single-user mode. The developers tried to shoot two birds with one stone, combining elements of Call of Duty and Battlefield. However, it turned out badly: the battles are not too fast and dynamic, as in the series “Call of Duty”, and the local multiplayer does not reach the scale of Battlefield.

Of course, a couple of interesting moments still found a place. There are teams for two players, there is the possibility of choosing the nationality of your fighter, and much more. Maps are drawn well, but some get boring too quickly. But the worst thing is the balance, where a team of professionals who have played hundreds of hours and beginners who have just purchased the game can gather. In general, nothing outstanding.

However, small maps and not the highest dynamics of battles offset the small cost of resources for the game, so the system requirements for Medal of Honor Warfighter are different serious ones, like Battlefield 4. For example, even at low graphics settings the game looks good: clear textures, rich effects, characterization of characters and military equipment are all at a pretty good level, despite the lack of smoothing with realistic shadows, which somewhat spoils the visual perception of what is happening.

As already mentioned, the real soldiers of the American army, who went through many secret operations, took part in the writing of the script. After the release of the game, this fact spread throughout the world, which negatively affected the reputation of the military themselves. So, seven fighters of the Navy SEALs elite division were sentenced to disciplinary practice for their direct participation in the development.

According to official figures, one of the “seals” consulted the scriptwriters, telling the secret information of the unit. An interesting fact is that one of these servicemen was in the group of the detachment, which was entrusted with catching and executing the former terrorist No. 1 - Bin Laden.

Criticism

After showing the first trailers, analysts were very optimistic about the future of the project, promising him good sales. Nevertheless, the closer the release date approached, the less hope remained for the gorgeous "shot" of the game. After the release, critics noted the second-rate multiplayer, not catchy plot and extensive differentiation of missions with regards to the interest of their patency.

Moreover, the rating publication Kotaku, which does not rate projects in figures, did not recommend the game for purchase, justifying this by the fact that the Warfighter consisted entirely of clichés, and any game scene sparkled somewhere. And estimates from popular resources turned out to be average, which ruined the series, which is now in "lethargy".
