There are many different add-ons for Sims 3. They can be installed on the game individually or in a whole bunch, if we are talking about a pirate repack. However, not all updates are equally useful and necessary. What to do and how to remove add-ons in "Sims 3" if you do not like them or do not fit? Let's look at all the methods in a bit more detail.
Shutdown
Regardless of whether you play the official or pirated version of the game, it is not necessary to completely remove the installed updates from the computer. Therefore, instead of looking for how to remove some add-ons in "Sims 3", it's easier to just turn them off.
Launch the game and go to settings. Go to the "Add-ons" tab and click the "Off" button opposite to the improvement you don't need. Save the changes. Now the cards will be created without the specified modification, and it makes no sense for you to try to remove the update.
Manually
If you absolutely absolutely need to know how to remove add-ons in "Sims 3", for example, in order to clear free space on your computer, then you can use one of the following tips.
We start with the most common, but the wrong option - removing the add-on yourself. It is also offered in official technical support from the publisher company EA. To do this, you just need to go to the directory with the game installed.
- If you installed the game from a floppy disk, then by default the game should be located on drive C, in the Program Files folder and in the Electronic Arts subdirectory.
