Plot
The Red Alert: Yuri Revenge events take place in parallel with Red Alert 2, where the antagonist was an adviser to Prime Minister Alexander Romanov. In fact, he turned out to be a gray cardinal and architect of the confrontation of superpowers.
In Red Alert 2: “Yuri’s Rematch” leads the army of psi soldiers and claims to take over the world, pushing former enemies to come forward as a united front.
The game begins with a video clip, where the US president is informed about the device on the island of Alcatraz, Yuri appears on the screen, and attempts to reach an agreement end up putting the troops on alert with further damage to the enemy nuclear reactor on the island.
Left without one psi-dominator, Yuri activates devices in Antarctica and Egypt. The player chooses the side and goes back in time on the day of the first attack of the USSR to frustrate the villain's plans. The fighting takes place in San Francisco, Hollywood, Egypt, London and the Moon.

Gamers are attracted by the combination of technologies in multiplayer mode: the Allied and Soviet bases are placed nearby and captured. The result is an army with the technological advantages of three factions.

Red Alert 2: “Yuri's Rematch” starts in San Francisco with attempts to destroy the Psi Dominator, military operations continue in Los Angeles, Seattle, Egypt and Sydney.
The culmination of the confrontation is the negotiations between the US and USSR leaders in London: the player will have to defend the parliament building from the forces of Yuri, located on the banks of the Thames.
In the last battle in Antarctica, the player commands the combined forces of the Allies and the USSR. The captured enemy is imprisoned in the Psi-Isolator, invented by Einstein to keep Yuri. In the final video, General Carville appears instead of the antagonist on the negotiation screen.
Agent Tanya flirts with the main character in a luxurious dress, inviting to follow her, but Eve appears and offers the same. In response, Tanya asked to send her to the past for a couple of hours to avoid a meeting.
Campaign for the USSR

Actions begin in San Francisco, where Agent Boris goes into battle, continues in Germany with the destruction of Einstein’s laboratory, and is transferred to London to unite with the Allies and defeat Yuri.
The war continues in the sands of Libya, where the player destroys the enemy psi outpost, rescues Prime Minister Romanov and escorts to the airport. From the Kremlin, the prime minister orders the destruction of Yuri’s fleet in the Pacific Ocean and the base on the moon.
The last battle takes place in Transylvania, where Soviet and American bases fell under the influence of a psi-dominator. The player will encounter a force that combines the qualities of three factions better.
In the final screen saver, “Revenge of Yuri,” the antagonist uses the Time Machine and is transferred to the dinosaur era due to the sabotage of Lieutenant Sofia. A fugitive villain dies in the jaws of a tyrannosaurus, Soviet troops marching around New York, and the USSR launches an orbital station.
Russian edition
“Yuri’s revenge” in Russian received negative reviews due to unsuccessful voice acting: Yuri’s voice is squeaky and comical, which does not convey the author’s idea of a merciless villain.
A Russified edition with English-language dialogues, where the antagonist's voice is insinuating and threatening, is in demand.
