Tomato Primadonna - the best vegetable for a cool summer

Modern selection makes it possible to grow vegetables and fruits in those areas that are not entirely suitable for their cultivation. So, for example, for a short northern summer, a new hybrid called Primadonna tomato is perfect. This is an early hybrid. So, the ripening of fruits is carried out in ninety-ninety-five days. The tomato variety Primadonna is excellently used both for open ground and for film greenhouses.

Tomato Primadonna refers to determinant plants. That is, it has a growth restriction (the height of this variety of tomato reaches one hundred twenty-one hundred and thirty centimeters). As a rule, in determinant plants, the fruits are located on the first four to five branches. This variety has seven to eight brushes on which the fruits are evenly located. The color of the fruits of the variety Primadonna is intense red. The fruits have a rounded shape, a small spout stands out at the end. The consistency of the fruit is dense, the taste is excellent, with a slight acidity. The mass of each fruit is approximately one hundred fifty to two hundred grams. Primadonna's tomatoes are characterized by an optimal combination of organic acids and sugars.

As a rule, the yield of this variety is approximately sixteen to eighteen kilograms per square meter. This variety is very resistant to cultivation in areas of so-called risky farming. It does not have a green spot on the stalk, as is the case with many other varieties. Tomato Primadonna has another very important property: it is genetically resistant to cracking. Also, thanks to this property, Primadonna tomatoes are resistant to damage that occurs during transportation of tomatoes. This property makes these tomatoes transportable, that is, they can be transported over long distances, of course, subject to the relevant transportation conditions.

In order to grow seedlings of Primadonna tomatoes , it is necessary to sow the seeds to a depth of two to three centimeters. This should be done in late March - early April. A pick is carried out after the appearance of one or two true leaves. Before planting seedlings in open ground, it is necessary to conduct hardening. To do this, grown tomato sprouts should be placed in a place where the temperature does not rise above fifteen to sixteen degrees. This procedure is carried out seven to ten days before disembarkation. But gradually the temperature should rise to twenty-twenty-two degrees. The landing procedure itself is carried out when they are sure that the threat of frost has completely passed. Seedlings can be fifty-five to seventy days old. A sign that the seedlings are ready for planting in open ground is the presence of six to seven true leaves, as well as at least one brush ready for flowering. In order to get the highest yield, it is necessary to plant no more than three to five plants per square meter. And in order for the crop to be early, it is necessary to form the plant in one stem, tying it to any vertical support.

Care tomato variety Primadonna requires not very thorough. The only thing that needs to be watered with warm water, and during the growing season - to feed with special complex fertilizers. Naturally, weed control and loosening should be carried out as necessary. Also, as the tomato grows, it is necessary to organize vertical supports for it.

Tomato Primadonna is a resistant hybrid. Creating it, breeders made sure that diseases such as alternariosis, fusariosis and TMV were not afraid of him. In the event that an early crop was obtained, this variety is also able to give a good additional crop.
