Among a huge number of various knitted products for children, sundresses and skirts occupy a special place. The principle of their implementation is quite simple. Crocheted patterns are usually made from the waist to the bottom, expanding gradually. Since openwork patterns are usually used, because of which the products can be translucent, the product is “planted” on a lining or lower tier. Models made with knitting needles are pleated thanks to knitting “elastic”, which is especially attractive and cute. This article describes how to make two knitted skirts for girls - crochet and knitting. The calculations are given for the age of five to seven years. In the first, splendor is achieved thanks to several openwork tiers. The second model is knitted "in the fold" from the bottom up.

The product consists of a one-piece coquette and three tiers made with lace border, each of which is sewn on the side. For work, in addition to cotton threads, you will need a piece of fabric for the lining, on which the second and third frills will be attached. Dial 160 air loops and knit in a circle in columns with one ordinary yarn about eight to ten centimeters. Then continue with any lace motif. Each ruffle will be slightly more magnificent than the previous one, while having a width of six to seven centimeters. After all the parts are ready, carefully sew the lining to the yoke from the wrong side with a hidden stitch at the junction with the first frill. Then stitch the second ruffle, hiding the seam under the first tier. The third frill is connected to the edge of the lining, not protruding beyond the second. The product is made from bottom to top, gradually tapering to the belt. The proposed knitted skirt for the girl is very simple. The scheme for work is not required, it will be enough to understand the proposed description and periodically try on the product for the child. To get 26 folds, each of which consists of nine front and two wrong loops, put 288 stitches on circular knitting needles. After knitting four to five rows, begin to decrease through the row, gradually narrowing the “waves” on both sides, connecting the front loops in two together. After seven to eight centimeters of work, each fold will already consist of seven and two loops, after ten or twelve - five and two, after fifteen - three and two. Then, knitting two or four rows, reduce the purl. Approximately from the middle of the entire height of the product, the canvas should be completely “front”. Having reached the belt, go to the gum (2 facial, 2 wrong). Having knitted four to five centimeters, finish the job. Fold the belt around, sew in neat, hidden stitches and insert elastic tape. A wonderful pleated skirt is ready!
