Mounting Features

"Ondutis R Termo" - foil vapor barrier film based on a polyester fabric. The aluminum layer on the inside has a polymer coating to protect against mechanical stress. This film is excellent for vapor barrier ceiling. The secret lies in the ability of aluminum spraying to reflect heat rays into the room, not allowing them to rise up. Thanks to this, the ceiling finish becomes a little warmer than with a simple vapor barrier, and condensation does not form on it.
"Ondutis R Termo" also has a minus - the film cannot be used for vapor barrier of concrete and brick walls, because due to the reflection of heat waves inside the room they will be in constant cold, will quickly freeze, and this is very bad for the microclimate of residential buildings. Smart RV

"Ondutis RV Smart" protects the room from moisture and prevents:

This type of film can be used as temporary protection of building envelopes for 1.5 months before the installation of the main coating.
How to stack?
Hydro-vapor barrier for the roof "Ondutis SA 115" is laid on the outside tightly to the insulation. Be sure to arrange an external ventilation gap for the natural removal of steam from the thermal insulation. The film can also be used for moisture, wind insulation of walls.
On pitched insulated roofs, the material is laid close to the insulation. There should be one ventilation gap between the roof and the film from 7 to 10 cm. It is necessary that the under-roof space is well ventilated. To do this, ventilation holes are provided in the cornice to ensure air access, and ventilation devices corresponding to the roofing system are made in the area of the ridge.
On the roof, the film is attached to the rafters. In this case, the logo should face out after laying the thermal insulation. The material is rolled out on the roof and laid in horizontal stripes. Starting from the bottom strip go from the eaves to the ridge. The overlap distance of horizontal joints should be at least 15 cm, and vertical - 20 cm.
On the rafters, the material is fixed with a stapler. To reduce heat loss associated with the penetration of external cold air, the vertical and horizontal joints of the film are glued with reinforced tape or double-sided tape "Ondutis BL".
