The composition of the mixture, in addition to natural oils, contains the following substances:

1. High efficiency biocidal components. They are difficult to wash out of the mixture, so that the balm is firmly held on a wood surface.
2. Natural micro wax.
3. Transparent nano-pigments resistant to light.
4. Dearomatized solvents.
5. UV absorbers.
6. UV filters.

Use Aquatex balm for processing surfaces of wood, plywood, MDF, OSB, chipboard, fiberboard glued beams and other similar materials. The oil composition covers all the external and internal surfaces, ranging from walls to wood flooring.

Material properties

The following properties are considered the most important characteristics of Aquatex balm for consumers:

Work can only be done under certain conditions:

1. Wood should not be wet for more than 20%.
2. Humidity should not exceed 80%.
3. The ambient temperature should not be above 40 and below +5 ° C.

Before you start applying the Aquatex balm, you should prepare the surface. So, if the wood has darkened from prolonged use, it is treated with bleaching preparations. If there are affected areas, rot is removed from them. Peeling coatings are cleaned from previously stained areas. To do this, they are sanded, cycled, polished - the most suitable cleaning method is selected.

In order for biosecurity to serve for a long time and extend the service life of wood used in the open air, it is preliminary recommended to treat prepared surfaces with an antiseptic primer.

Attention : if the wood was previously treated with bio- and fire-retardant impregnations, it is not recommended to apply Aquatex balsam oil on it.

For work, you need a spray. It can be replaced with a sponge, roller or brush. It is impossible to dilute oil with any substances. If you want to get a mixture of a certain shade, you can mix material in other shades.

Features of the work

When the surfaces are fully prepared, they begin to work with the composition itself - it is thoroughly mixed. If external surfaces are treated, oil is applied in 2-3 layers. To protect indoor surfaces, it is enough to apply the substance in one, maximum - in 2 layers. The number of layers depends on what final shade the coating should have.

An important detail: before starting to apply the substance, a small area is painted first - each wood species after applying the substance acquires a different shade.

Aquatex tree oil balm is applied very thinly, carefully rubbing it into the wood. If they work with a brush, strokes lead along the fibers. When working, it is necessary to ensure that there are no smudges, omissions.

After the first layer has been applied, it is allowed to dry for 8-9 hours and only after that the next one is applied. After several treatments, the surfaces dry in 48-50 hours.

There are several important nuances that will significantly facilitate the work with the material and help to get the highest quality result.

1. If you have to use one composition, but purchased from different lots, before proceeding with surface treatment, you need to take the same amount of the drug from both (three) containers and mix in one. This will allow you to get the surface of one tone.
2. Half an hour after the application of the substance to the surface, everything that has not been absorbed is removed with a soft cloth. If the oil is not removed, due to the different thickness of the layer, the tint will turn out to be heterogeneous, and the surface will lose its decorative effect.
3. If not all the Aquatex tree balm oil has been used up, it can be left in storage until the next use. For this, the substance is poured into a container of glass or metal, hermetically closed and left in a place where the sun does not penetrate. Moreover, the container must be of such a size that it is completely filled with oil.
