Today we will introduce readers and all enthusiastic gamers to the Kenshi character from Mortal Kombat. For the first time, the hero appeared in the fifth main part of the series called "Deadly Alliance". After some time, Kenshi (another pronunciation option - Kensi) reappeared in the fighting game, becoming one of the additional characters in a special DLC for MK 2011 (Mortal Kombat). The next full-fledged appearance of the hero was in the tenth of a series called Mortal Kombat X. It is also worth noting the mobile version of MK: X, in which the character was christened the Elder God of Kenshi (Mortal Kombat X Mobile, update 1.11).

A distinctive feature of Kenshi is his blindness. Despite his ailment, the character has amazing strength and unique combat skills, brought to perfection thanks to aggravated sensory organs. Kenshi's blindness gives him another unique advantage over his opponents - immunity to attacks aimed at the eyes.
During the battle, the character prefers to use the sword, which contains the spirits of the ancestors. According to the plot of the original chronological events, Kenshi also acquired the skill of using telekinesis, which he studied with Ermak. The latter, in turn, shared his knowledge in gratitude, since Kenshi saved him from the influence of Shao Kan. Following telekinesis, the hero also learned teleportation, which became possible thanks to the developed power of thought.

Kenshi cannot see, but at the same time he has developed hearing and touch. In addition to the honed fighting techniques of hand-to-hand combat, the hero also actively uses his sword, in which the souls of his ancestors dwell. Kenshi is able to determine his opponents by the special energy emanating from their bodies. Thus, the character is able to launch unexpected attacks even before the enemy sees him.
We have already said above that Kenshi is immune to attacks aimed at vision and that he can instantly transfer (teleport) from one place to another. In addition, the hero can easily confuse the enemy with his mental copies, as well as gain control of the sword with the help of telekinesis, striking at a long distance. All of the above abilities turn Kenshi into a dangerous and truly unpredictable opponent.
Special tricks
During the battle, Kenshi can use the following special techniques:
- Telekinetic Slam - the character uses the power of telekinesis on the opponent and raises him above the ground, after which he throws down with force;
- Telekinetic Toss - Kenshi uses telekinesis to throw the enemy over his back;
- Telekinetic Push - the enemy is thrown aside by the power of telekinesis;
- Tele-Flurry - the character takes several strokes without moving from a place, and the enemy takes damage at the same time;
- Face Flat - Kenshi grabs his opponent and jumps with him to the side, imprinted on the floor;
- Mind Warp - the character is instantly transferred closer to the enemy;
- Meditation - the hero takes off into the air and takes the lotus position. If someone decides to approach him at this moment, he will be thrown aside, and Kenshi himself will return to the ground and continue the battle.
Fatality
In Mortal Kombat, Kenshi, like all other characters, has several spectacular finishes. Here they are:
- Telekinetic Crush - the hero uses his power of thought to lift the opponent into the air and compress his body. As a result of this fatality, the victim's eyes burst and almost all bones break;
- Telekinetic Tear - Kenshi raises the enemy in the air and tears him to pieces;
- Samurai Slash - the hero uses his sword to first pierce the opponent’s chest, and then pull out his chest. After that, he tears it to pieces;
- Split ends - the hero throws his sword aside, and then throws the enemy at him, chopping it into two;
- Hara-Kiri (optional, not quite fatal) - at the end of the battle, Kenshi takes a sword and rips open his own belly.
How to beat Kenshi at Mortal Kombat
But what if we do not play as a blind fighter, but our opponent? What should be the tactics in this case? We advise you to build on what we already know about Kenshi and choose only those attacks that can be counterbalanced by its strengths.
One of the most powerful attacks against Kensha in "Mortal Kombat 9" and X is considered to be the Ball of Fire - the ability of the fighting style "Hellfire" of the character Scorpio.
