The quests of the Daedra Lords are one of the most interesting parts of the Skyrim game. There are sixteen of them in total, but now we will talk about only one of them - about the quest “Call of Boethius” (“Skyrim”). The passage of the quest itself, as well as the ways you can get it, are below in the article.
How to get a quest
Only the character of the thirtieth level can receive the quest “Call of Boethiah”. Most likely this task will find you by itself. Soon after reaching level thirty, you will be attacked by a representative of the Boethiah cult. After killing the villain, do not forget to search him, and you will receive the book “Test of Boethiah.” Read the book, and the sanctuary appears on the map, which you need to go to. At the same time, neither the cultist nor the book are the trigger that starts the quest. It is the sanctuary itself. Therefore, there are other ways to begin the quest “Call of Boethiah.” If the mad representative of the cult does not attack you for too long, or you do not want to wait, then the book can be obtained in other places. The “Test of Boethiah” is in the abandoned house from the quest “House of Horrors” and in the home of Septimius Segonia. However, even a book is not necessary to search: you can go straight to the shrine.
You need to search for the shrine in the mountains east of Windelham. As stated in the book "Test of Boethiah" about the goddess: "... Find her on the mountain with a view of Windelham."
If you follow the “Stables” location on the road in an easterly direction, then along the way you will meet three windelham farms. After the third farm ("Holly"), turn towards the mountain. Then follow the path that goes from the foot of the mountain. She will lead you straight to the chapel. This is where the quest “Call of Boethiah” (“Skyrim”) starts. Passage is possible in the following sequence.
In the shrine you will be met by a follower of Boethiah (priestess). She will tell you how to summon Princess Daedra. Of course, you have to do something dark and evil, namely to make a sacrifice to her. You will need to bring some of your partner to the sacrificial pillar and kill him with a ritual knife. If you decide that it is worth it, then proceed with the search for the victim. She can be any of your companions or members of your guild. You just need to bring him to the sanctuary and through the menu of orders to the companion click on the sacrificial pillar. When a sphere forms around your partner, paralyzing him, it's time to get the ritual knife.
After you do your dirty deed, Boethiah herself will get in touch with you (by the way, Boethiah’s gender is not defined, since the original sources do without mentioning pronouns in the Skyrim game. “Call of Boethiah” is no exception: the quest just doesn’t give an answer to this question, which is so interesting for many). She will speak through the body of your dead companion. Interestingly, you can conduct a dialogue with her both obsequiously and in a very daring manner - nothing will change from this. She will have news for you: of all her followers, only one should remain alive. The last of the priests will receive the right to be her protector.
A mortal battle between all cultists will take place near the chapel. Each will be for himself, so this part of the task will be fun and without any difficulty. When the last fan of Boethiah falls, the dark goddess again speaks through his body. She has a new task. This time the last. In a place known as the Knife's Edge Ridge, a gang of its followers lives, led by its current protector. Their leader somehow disappointed Boethiah, and now you need to eliminate the whole gang. Say, the only way you can become her protector. After all, officially the place is still taken, and the dismissals in the world of dark gods occur only through death.

The place where the gang settled is a camp settlement with a mine. There are eight robbers in the camp itself. The matter will not end with them, and you will have to visit the mine, where six more will be waiting for you, including the leader.
Having dealt with each of the enemies, you will have to remove the Ebonite Chain Mail from the body of the leader . As soon as you put on it, the voice of Boethiah will inform you that now you are her new protector. The quest will end there.
Some tips for completing the quest
This is the quest "Call of Boethiah" ("Skyrim"). Passing this task should not cause you much trouble, but you should give a few more tips.
A sacrifice at a pillar can be killed with any other weapon, not necessarily a ritual knife. From this nothing will change.
Participation in a deadly tournament can be avoided. To do this, you must kill all the cultists in the chapel before making a sacrifice. For example, if you are not sure of victory in an open battle, you can attack everyone stealthily when enemies do not expect this.
Or, again, using stealth, there is an opportunity to hide during the tournament near the place of the fight and wait until the followers of Boethiah kill each other. It remains only to finish off the wounded winner.
Also do not leave the horse near the arena. When the massacre begins, it will certainly rush to your aid, and, most likely, they will quickly kill it.
