More than five hundred years ago, this animal was considered sacred. Such cats lived in temples, and the monks took care of them there, and it was believed: the better they take care of them, the closer they will be to God.
And only in 1930 the burmese cat (Wong Mau) was introduced to America. There he was crossed with a force point (Siamese). And only the great-grandchildren of Wong Mau became purebred representatives of the breed. Then burmese cat came to England, and only later became widespread throughout Europe.

Burmese cat care
Outwardly, this breed seems awkward, but this is only a first impression. In fact, they are very mobile and jumping animals, they love to climb trees or some kind of home appliances for games. If you are planning a trip with a cat to the cottage or just want to walk him, then it is better to use a leash. Burmese are very active, and therefore can quietly slip out of the room.
Animals with pleasure not only eat traditional cat food, but can also enjoy boiled vegetables, cottage cheese, cheese, pasta, ham, sausage, brown bread and even butter.
Burmese animals are short-haired animals, and therefore special care for their coat is not needed. However, during periods of seasonal molting, cats need to be combed carefully with a special brush. Also, animals should be clawed once every two weeks.
