How much does it cost to spend electricity on the site and how to do it? This question is quite relevant not only for many owners of summer cottages, but also for those who received land for individual housing construction.

How to conduct light on the site?

If the site is located in a village and does not apply to either a garden or a summer house partnership, then the owners will have to act independently. In order to conduct light on the site, it is necessary to collect all the necessary documents and contact them in the RES (regional power networks).

Power consumption

It is important to determine the power consumption in advance. For country houses, this indicator can be different. Calculation of the total electricity consumption is carried out with a decent margin, since with the purchase of new household appliances the consumed amount of electricity increases. Devices that run on the network can be much larger than the owners of suburban areas suggest. In addition to household appliances, electricity can be used:

1. Obtaining permission from the relevant organization.
2. Performing technical work.

To connect to the electricity site, first of all, it is necessary to obtain permits. To do this, you should visit an organization that is engaged in electrification and submit the relevant documents:

1. Declaration of desire to hold on your portion of the power line.
2. Documents confirming the ownership of this land.
3. The plan of the land to which it is planned to bring electricity, indicating the various utilities (water, gas ...).
4. Depending on which organization makes the connection, other documents may also be requested, therefore it is better to clarify in advance what is needed in addition to the above.

After receiving (about a month after the submission of the documentation) technical specifications, you can proceed with the development of the project, which will be used to electrify the site. After drawing up it must be agreed with the electricity supply organization. The implementation of the same work can be entrusted to the design bureau or the same electricity supply organization. In this case, you will significantly save time and you will be sure of the correctness of the documentation.

When choosing a designer, you need to pay attention to 2 criteria:

• full list of services provided;

After supplying electricity to the site, documents confirming the completion of work are drawn up and signed (act of technological connection, act of dividing the boundaries, act of fulfilling technical specifications, protocol for measuring the operation of electrical equipment, test report).

Conducting electricity to the site is one of two methods:

• underground;
• by air.

Air connection method

This is the fastest and cheapest method that does not require earthwork. But there is one significant drawback - the negative impact of natural factors: rain, snow, wind. Therefore, you need to use only special moisture-proof fittings.

Due care must be taken to prevent cable breakage, as this may result in death. The optimum length of a suspended cable is not more than 15 meters. Otherwise, it is likely to break as a result of icing or under load of snow.

The light on the site is carried out using a special SIP-wire (self-supporting insulated wire), the main elements of which are conductive conductors, polyethylene insulation and a cable that increases the strength characteristics of the cable.

Underground connection method

This technology is more labor intensive and expensive. Here you have to do earthwork. The positive aspect of this method is that laying in the trench of the electric cable is the safest, since you will not need to worry about the negative effects of natural factors. In addition, any transport may call into the site.

Excavation is carried out in stages:

1. Digging a trench 70-80 cm deep.
2. Sand is poured with a layer of about 15-20 cm.
3. Glass, stones and other debris that can damage the cable are removed.

For the underground method of conducting electricity, a wire is used without a special cable or conductive wires. As a rule, this is a two-phase cable, which is designed for 220 V. But in case you use equipment that consumes 360 V, you will need the appropriate three-phase cable and meter.

Laying the electric wire is carried out in a corrugated pipe. It is not necessary to pull it strongly. The wire laid in the pipe is covered with a layer of sand (approximately 15 cm).

To protect against accidental damage to the wires, bricks or pieces of ceramic tile can be laid on top of the sand.

When performing work on connecting electricity, the following safety rules must be strictly observed:

• do not lay cable during precipitation;
• when working, wear special electrician gloves and dry shoes with rubber soles.

Mandatory work requirements

There are several mandatory requirements, without which the electricity specialists will not accept the work of conducting electricity to the land.

1. Between the posts the distance should not exceed 15 meters.
2. From poles to the house, the distance should be at least 10 meters.
3. From cable to buildings, buildings and tree crowns, the distance should be more than 1.5 meters.
4. The height from the road to the cable must be at least 6 m.
5. The wire to the wall must be mounted at a height of up to 2.75 m.
6. It is forbidden to connect wires over the roof of the house.

How much does it cost to spend electricity on the site?

The technological connection of electricity to the site from the pillar depends on a number of indicators:

• the distance from the site to the source of electricity (in rural areas it should be at least 500 meters, and in the city - at least 300 meters);
• the region of connection (for example, in Moscow, connecting is much more expensive than in Kamchatka);
• type of connection (existing or new), simple reconnection will cost less;
• voltage level.

The minimum cost of connecting light in 2016 was 500 rubles.

The construction of its own power lines (power lines) with the installation of special supports can result in a rather large amount, the size of which depends on:

• number of supports;
• installation cost;
• cost of materials.
