In order to make a bow from a satin ribbon, it is necessary to prepare
the material from which we will create our creation. It will take several meters of a satin ribbon of different widths and shades, optionally organza or silk, threads, needles, a heat gun, as well as various beads, hairpins, beads, figures from damaged decorative rubber bands for hair and everything that can be used as decoration. You may also need double-sided tape - in case you plan to make a bow from a satin ribbon, the photo of which we offer.
First, measure the desired length of the tape. To do this, you need to remember one pattern that will help you quickly create copies of the ideal size. If you plan to make a bow with a size of 5 cm, then the ribbon should be 25 cm long. Therefore, we respect the proportion
finished product and consumables - 1: 5. Then we begin to form the bow itself from a satin ribbon. To create a beautiful and stylish instance, you need a smooth and puff-free tape. Form the two loops so that they are the same size. Then, fixing the center of the bow with a thin ribbon, tightly drag the place where the loops intersect. For this, use a tape of a contrasting shade or in perfect harmony with the basic tone of the workpiece. After the center was wrapped a couple of times with a thin ribbon, you can fix it either using a heat gun or using small stitches of thread. The ends of the bow are carefully cut diagonally and very carefully melted over a candle or lighter.
