Writer Biography

Zlotnikov’s bibliography contains a large number of different works. He was born in the closed city of Arzamas-16 in 1963. He received his secondary education in Obninsk, along with him the future famous bard Mikhail Shcherbakov studied there.

Roman Zlotnikov received his higher education at the Higher Military Command School in Saratov. Having received a diploma, he served in the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In 1986 he got married, a year later his daughter Olga was born.

In 1992, already in the rank of captain, Roman Zlotnikov came to the Obninsk branch of the Institute for Advanced Studies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. There he taught psychology and shooting. He participated in scientific conferences, published in authoritative publications. In 1993, his son Ivan was born.

Zlotnikov finally retired in 2004 with the rank of police colonel.
