The maid Lisa became pregnant from the brother of the main character. As a result, she hanged herself in the bathhouse. However, people were told that Lisa had gone mad. It becomes obvious that Vassa is ready to do anything to save her business and home. She loves her own failed children insanely. They became victims of their father’s unbridled past life, as well as his cruelty to his mother.
