Armstrong recessed LED panel is a special type, which is most often used in offices. Previously, fluorescent lamps were used in it, but quite often they failed, so now they switched to LED.
The main advantage of such lighting is the minimization of electrical energy consumption. The savings are almost 50%. The case is made of steel or aluminum, which provides the necessary rigidity.
On the inner surface of the case, the manufacturer installs 4 boards with LEDs. In order to uniformly fit the case and the board, rivets made of plastic are additionally used.
There are two types of diffusers - prism and matte. Reflective glossy film makes it possible to minimize the loss of light flux inside the lamp, which makes it uniform and bright. Armstrong panels are made of lighting polycarbonate and are characterized by a high transmittance - for a prism diffuser at least 85%, and for a matte diffuser at least 75%.
