Information about the main location
The location, which received the name "Hillsbrad Foothills" from the developers, is available to every player who has reached level 20. This zone is located in Lordaeron, or rather, in its south. Previously (before the Cataclysm), this area was inhabited, but was eventually captured by the Forsaken.
Before the incident, this location was quite peaceful, there were no attacks at all, and the atmosphere itself was calm. Now she is teeming with evil.
Hillsbrad Foothills consists of two small locations - the Alterac Mountains and the zone of the same name.
Geography and map
Surprisingly, not all the lands of the Hillsbrad location were infected by the plague. Even with the fact that the Scourge was here, some territories managed to survive. It is easy enough to recognize these zones, if only by their appearance, they differ significantly from those over which the Plague is scattered. Before the Cataclysm, all territories were almost the same and looked exactly like that.

Temporary location
Those events that take place in the "old" location actually happened seven years before the advent of the Warcraft world. In order to pass this zone, it is necessary to save Thrall from imprisonment in the fortress.
When a player enters a location, he is offered bombs that can explode barracks. In each of them there are several guards, after killing which, it is necessary to leave bombs by the barrel. Having run out after this, the player will notice the first boss. Having finished it, you should go to the basement - this is where Thrall is located. After release, he begins to accompany the player to the exit. However, you do not need to leave him alone - Thrall will be attacked by each monster. When the player approaches the exit, you will have to fight with the second boss. Next, move on to the mill. This is where the third boss will be. After killing him, the player wins and leaves the location “Old Hillsbrad Foothills”.
