Lack of reaction from the game

However, a solution exists, because most often such problems arise when your antivirus has deleted an important game file on suspicion of a virus. Error loading version.ini file
Very often CrossFire throws an error saying that it cannot find the version.ini file. What is this file and what is it for? In fact, there is no problem at all, because this file is responsible for connecting to the server, so if your client cannot find it, it means that the server is not working right now. Go to the site of the server on which you are playing and make sure that preventive maintenance is carried out there, or it is simply turned off. You just have to wait, since in CrossFire an error of this type cannot be solved by the user. However, it is worth noting that you can not connect to the server even when it is online - then you will have to try harder.
Trace execution
It may happen that your client does not want to synchronize with new server data that has gone out of prevention or has risen after a crash. Sometimes CrossFire crashes, but it is caused by completely different reasons. And if the game does not want to start due to the above error, then you will need to trace. Mlang.dll error

His task at CrossFire is to review all running applications and block starting at the slightest threat, so avoid running other programs in parallel, whatever they may be.
As you can see, almost all errors in the game at launch are caused by the fact that you use third-party utilities, in particular cheats, trainers and other fraudulent devices that give you an unfair advantage over other players. So do not use such software, and then half of the problems will disappear on their own. Of course, there are some more errors that can occur during the game itself, but here you most likely need to look for the cause in your computer or in the programs installed on it. You may need to upgrade your machine or run fewer applications in parallel with the game so that it can use more system resources. And then you can play without any problems.
