And then the question arises of how passport validation is generally carried out. What should I pay attention to, what nuances are important to consider?

- It consists in determining the legal validity of the document and verifying the conformity of the passport form with the current approved form.

First of all, it is necessary to check the validity period of the document, the availability of signatures of all officials and the necessary photos of the owner. The third page is faked in several ways:
- Cut a photo and paste a new one in its place, re-laminate.
- Raise the protective coating layer, change the photo and apply another layer on top.
- Remove the laminate, photo and surface layer of paper. Then simulated images of the form, installation data are applied to the leaflet and re-coated with a protective film.
- Stick on top of the photograph and installation data a new page with fictitious information, laminate.
- They “sew” the passport, delete the sheet with the third page and “sew” a new, fake one.
Validation of the passport for validity: signs of a fake document
The presence of at least one of the following symptoms may indicate that the document is not real:
- the color or size of the third page is different from the rest;
- there are no watermarks on one of the pages (often on the third);
- smeared images of details with a granular structure;
- missing the word "RUSSIA" on the form of the passport and other fibers that are visible in ultraviolet light;
- there are folds and / or swelling on the layer of the laminate;
- matte protective coating, peeling, the presence of contamination;
- the presence of two layers of laminate, the same number of photographs;
- there are folds on the cover and / or on one of the bookends of the document;
- semantic or spelling errors occur ;
- the coat of arms is mirrored;
- there are signs of electrophotography and / or inkjet printing ;
- there are no separate parts of the signs and / or their displacement, there is uneven coloring and / or a simplified image of the signs;
- broken parallelism and radiality of lines, unevenly placed text, etc.
