From time to time everyone wants to play something epic and grandiose, with enormous proportions and consequences that affect the course of the game. This, as a rule, is what distinguishes good RPGs on PC. In general, this genre provides the user with a lot of opportunities: the main character’s leveling system, freedom of action and direction, a huge game world, many quests and minor characters. Obviously, you won’t be bored here, you simply don’t have time for this. It goes without saying that it is impossible to list all projects worthy of attention in one article. But, I promise, we will take one of the most worthwhile and guaranteed interesting!
TES V: Skyrim
In general, this series of games rightfully has in its collection the award "Best RPGs on PC". The last piece released to date is called Skyrim. We can say that this is the crown of creation, successfully incorporating absolutely all the necessary aspects of the RPG genre, which are so necessary for a full and unique game. A huge seamless world with a peculiar culture and people, many cities with their own atmosphere and architectural design, an almost inexhaustible number of quests (each of which is not similar to the previous one), a multilateral character leveling system make this game interesting for millions of people. A distinctive sign that this game is one of the best is that it was able to create a huge information field around itself, in which all users are discussing the passage of a task, create mods and add-ons, discussing what kind of armor or weapon it's better. Literally from the first minutes of the game, the user begins to suck into the maelstrom of events, and in just a few hours it will be impossible to tear herself away from it. I would like all RPG games for PC, the best or just ordinary, to have similar features.
Mass effect
Probably one of the best sci-fi games in the history of the computer industry. Here it is simply impossible to tell and describe everything with words, you need to understand and see what it is in your own skin. The 3-part Mass Effect series of games captivates with its original and epic plot, flavored with juicy dialogues that look a lot like a movie. The main character, Shepard, has a difficult task to save the Galaxy from destruction. It has everything: wonderful dialogues, a dizzying plot, shootings, friends and brothers in arms, planetary proportions and much more. Bioware can make good RPGs on PC. Make sure you are!
Fallout 3
All good RPGs on PCs are distinguished by their main idea, expressed in the main plot. A series of games "Fallout" originates in the distant 90s, but even at that time all its parts were very popular. The latest project is called "Fallout 3". All actions take place in the post-apocalyptic world, and more precisely in the wastelands of North America. Nuclear wars dramatically changed the lifestyle of surviving people, the surrounding nature and value system. Most of the territories are covered by radiation, and where it does not exist, there is an irreconcilable hostility between various clans fighting for absolute supremacy. Non-linear plot, several ending options, interesting gameplay, wonderful soundtrack - all this makes "Fallout 3" a unique game, deservedly included in the list of "Good RPGs on PC".
