Many have heard and read terrible stories about serial killers told in the media. Their surnames are often well known. They make documentaries about them and write articles in criminal chronicles. They are famous maniacs who have counted more than a dozen innocent victims. Some of the killers have followers who tried to surpass their "idol" in the "skill". The most famous maniacs of Russia and the USSR
One of the most sensational cases in the history of the investigation of serial killings was the case of Andrei Chikatilo. In the period from 1978 to 1990 of the last century, this man committed more than 65 murders. It is proved 53. His victims were children from seven years and women. He killed them with particular cruelty, committing sexual violence and acts of cannibalism. Mostly operated on the territory of the Rostov region, but cases of killings were recorded even in Tashkent and Leningrad. In 1994, he was executed.
"Bitsevsky" maniac
A follower of Chikatilo was Alexander Pichushkin, nicknamed “Bitsa’s” for most often committing crimes in a Moscow park in the area of Bitsa. He lured the victims there with a proposal to drink and committed the killing with a blow to the head, or threw him into compartments with sewage. In total, he has 62 victims. The first bloody thing was the murder of a classmate, which he committed at age 18.

Sergey Tkach. He himself admitted to having committed more than 100 crimes. The court found him guilty of more than 70 perpetrated rape killings. Subsequently, the Weaver pleaded guilty to another 30 crimes.

In the 70-80s of the last century, Gennady Mikhasevich was convicted of 36 murders. He lured victims into the red Zaporozhets, seduced, raped and strangled during his orgasm.
The most famous maniacs of America
Jeffrey Dahmer, or the "Milwaukee monster" killed, raped, and sometimes committed acts of cannibalism over his victims. It operated from 1988 to 1991 of the last century. He kept parts of the bodies of the victims at home. Damer was sentenced to a life sentence, but in 1994 he was killed by a cellmate.
John Gacy
Sadie and gay Gacy is also on the list of "The most famous maniacs in the world." He killed and raped more than 30 young men. His crimes occurred in the 70s of the last century. Surprisingly, and therefore more terrible, is that in his daily life, Gacy played the role of a clown in children's mornings. He was executed in 1980. The people described in our article are only a small part of all who committed atrocious crimes. Technological progress has stepped far forward, but, unfortunately, it is most often possible to identify killers only after a few years. And by this time, many innocent people have already been ruined. It has long been known that all the most famous maniacs in childhood were subjected to moral and physical violence. Therefore, parenting should be taken seriously so as not to raise a monster from a child.
