The village with the interesting name Anchor Slit (a photo and description of this resort will be presented in this article) is considered one of the most quiet and cozy resort corners of our country. There was no place for pathos clubs, discos and other noisy entertainments; the village cannot boast of any cultural or architectural monuments. But still a huge number of tourists come here. It is all about unique nature, peace and quiet.
Description
Subtropical forest, magnificent apple orchards, mountain ranges with rivers, small waterfalls and stone bowls - all this provides the tourist with a village. Here the soul rests, and local nature can be admired forever. The microdistrict, which is popular in Sochi, is Anchor Slit. It is located at the foot of the mountains in a larger gorge. There are mountains on three sides, so the weather is very pleasant. There are practically no winds. Such a climate is very mild, so everyone has a comfortable rest, especially for children and the elderly.
The air is light, but a little cool, breathable incredibly easily. The smell of the surrounding forest, as well as the aroma of flowering orchards adds a special touch. Winter colds do not come to the village; throughout the entire cold period, the temperature does not drop below zero. Thanks to this, there are no sudden changes in temperature, which means that the weather has a very beneficial effect on the human condition.
History
The village of Yakornaya Shchel began its history in the distant 1719. At that time, a special anchor was cast in the Urals, which weighed more than 180 kilograms. This was done by special order from the state. After that, the anchor was installed on one of the ships, then several times it was reinstalled on other ships. The last time the anchor belonged to the Penderaclius corvette. But in 1840 there was a powerful storm, after which the ship sank. This happened near the coast, fortunately, the ship's crew managed to get to the shore and escape.
At the beginning of the 20th century, a group of divers found the ship and fully explored. According to preliminary data, it became known that a large consignment of gold was transported on the sunken ship, which went to the bottom with the ship. But, unfortunately, the divers did not find the gold, but things from the cabins and the anchor itself were raised to the surface. All these finds were left on the shore, many things were taken away by the locals for their use, but they couldn’t carry the anchor, as it was on the shore for a long time. Over time, this place was called Anchor Slit.
Reviews about this resort are mixed. But for those who love silence and unity with nature, this place is perfect.

This is the best place to relax families with young children. The village has a special climate, mild, warm, fragrant. Here, even the boarding houses are located so that everyone is comfortable, calm and comfortable. Therefore, tourists do not interfere with each other to enjoy the silence and relax from the heavy workdays. To get from anywhere in the village to the beach, it will not take more than 15 minutes, and the walk will be very pleasant. The surroundings are stunningly beautiful. The beach is covered with pebbles and yellow sand. The water is clear, and it’s very nice to step along the bottom, as it is cleaned of stones and algae. This arrangement is especially convenient for families with small children. There is also an entertainment area on the beach where you can ride a banana, scooters, etc. There are souvenir shops and small cafes near the beach. It is here that you can see the largest congestion of people.
Attractions and entertainment
As already mentioned, Anchor Slot cannot boast of a large number of attractions. And in fact, they cannot be found in the village. But still this is a unique place, so there are natural attractions in the district. It often organizes excursions that vacationers enjoy visiting.
One of the most popular is an excursion to 33 waterfalls. The program includes a visit to the village of Kichmay. It is here that you can taste the most delicious honey, and if you want to take a jar with you home. Then the tour goes directly to the waterfalls themselves, and then, according to the plan, swimming in the Shakha river. You can also buy Adyghe wine, which is distinguished by its delicate taste.
No less interesting is a trip to Krasnaya Polyana. But you need to be prepared for the fact that the tour will be very tiring, because the whole day will be busy with walks in the surroundings.
