Laika is a breed of dog characterized by an extremely long history. Huskies are very easy to distinguish from other breeds. Due to the thick coat, huskies are absolutely insensitive to cold. The breeds of these dogs are very well adapted to the harsh Russian climate. They are not afraid of any frosts. They sleep in the snow, not freezing at all. Huskies are able to hunt and carry sledges all day, while remaining well-fed, almost without eating. This fitness developed in the process of natural selection, because huskies, unlike other dogs, until recently lived in semi-free conditions. Each indigenous family of the North had several dogs of this breed. Sometimes the animals were not given food for a long time, and they had to search for food on their own. As a result, they adapted to catching mice and group hunting for animals. Likes have an inherent hunting instinct. Therefore, they are almost not required to be trained in hunting. Harsh conditions made huskies balanced and extremely mobile. They are distinguished by excellent husky orientation ability: their breeds, unlike other dogs, are never lost in the forest. They are capable of a quick and clear reaction, they always find a master.

Huskies have a very good instinct. They developed keen sight, hearing and sense of smell. They can follow the trail of an animal for several hours. And when they find him, they begin to bark loudly to attract the attention of the owner. Huskies can hunt a variety of animals. They can track down squirrels, martens, sables, moose and wild boars in the wake. Laika is taken during the hunt for black grouse and capercaillie: dogs bark, distracting birds, and allow the hunter to approach the game. When hunting ducks, huskies drive them out of the reeds and bring the dead to the owner. With several dogs you can hunt bears. Of course, the same dog is not suitable for hunting all animals. Each husky is trained to catch a certain type of prey.

More recently, huskies helped people graze deer. But now they are endangered. There are riding huskies. Breeds that harness in a sled: East Siberian and West Siberian. They can easily and quickly move among deep snows. If you like a dog, you can use it to detain criminals. Representatives of this breed were also used during the war: they found mines, carried items and provided various assistance to soldiers. They can be good watchmen and husky advocates.

Although huskies are like wolves, they are calm and poised. An exception is the Russian-European like. She is very vicious and ferocious, and only hunters can contain her.
West Siberian Laika
She is better than other brethren hunting moose, deer, wild boars, sables and ducks. It is characterized by incredible endurance and adaptability to deep taiga snow. The same hardened and puppies of the Laika breed.
