What does this device collect? There are many harmful and unnecessary particles in natural gas. We are talking about resins, sand and small particles of corrosion. By using a filter, the gas system can be completely cleaned. In addition, the counters will be as objective as possible, accurately calculating the amount of raw materials used. The boiler will wear less, its components will be longer in order, and corrosion will not appear soon after installation.
Choosing a filter for the boiler
The choice of a filter is a serious enough question, which must be approached with all responsibility. Thanks to him, the gas supply system will be as safe and reliable as possible, of course, if you choose the right model. At the moment, there are a large number of interesting options that can be classified. Direct-flow and swivel models are available. How do they differ among themselves? Filters have different gas directions in the tank. If we consider the design, then the models may differ in that they have a linear or angular body. Filter housings are created primarily from steel or aluminum. In the case when the buyer decided to purchase this part, he needs to get acquainted with the main types of filtering materials - hair or mesh. The first option is characterized by what looks like a cassette. It includes pressed horse hair or a thread from kapron. Both materials are impregnated with viscin oil. The second option is made using a woven-type metal mesh.
Differences between strainers and hair filters
As mentioned above, material filters are divided into mesh and hair. The first work with a woven mesh of metal, and the second are small cassettes with thread.

Replacing a car gas filter
The gas filters used for fine cleaning the car’s fuel systems are disposable, for coarse ones, they are used several times. For the latter, it is regularly necessary to change the cartridge and disassemble. Often, the liquid phase device is under the hood. The list of its functions also includes the capture of small fractions of metal.
The filter should be replaced either once a year, or every 10 thousand km - less often. How is this process going?
First you need to close the cylinder. Next, you need to remove the nuts from the gas line, inlet and outlet. The filter should be left for some time so that the gas disappears from it. After that, the “buckle" of the device is removed. It is usually mounted on a bracket.
Now you should disassemble the filter. This is done as accurately as possible, as there are many rubber bands and magnets in the case. After cleaning the space in the filter, install a new cartridge. Now it remains to assemble the device and install it in place.
This completes the replacement of the gas filter. To make this process, as is already clear, it is possible quickly and without any effort. The only caveat: gum that has already lost its elasticity should be eliminated.
