One of the most important skills for everyone who spends a lot of time in games such as Converter-Strike 1.6, Converter-Strike Sourse, and Converter-Strike: Global Offensive (the latter is shortened to "KS: GO"), is precisely aim. Training him is a very important task, since it is the ability to quickly respond to a changing situation and neutralize the enemy with one or two shots that forms the basis of future victories in competitive (and not only) games. In this article we will talk about how you can implement it, as well as what features this or that weapon has.
Aim: training with bots
Of course, you can go from the opposite and immediately burst into a duel with real rivals in such modes as “Death Fight” or “Arms Race”. But why run ahead of the engine and lose, wasting time if you can begin to learn basic skills by confronting the computer? For this, aima training is provided in "KS: GO" with bots. Teams of special forces and terrorists appear at the starting positions (referred to by the players for brevity as “City” and “T-spawn” from their English counterparts).
Beginning of the game
By default, there is a small freeze time, that is, a period when players cannot move. This time should be spent on the purchase of equipment and discussion of the details of tactics. When the freeze-time is over, players are given freedom of action.
Pistol Training Features
The ability to aim and accurately shoot pistols at KS: GO is important. Firstly, this in some cases shows the skills of the player as a whole, which allows you to suppress the enemy team. Secondly, a frequent occurrence in the game is eco-rounds when you need to save money to buy a full set of weapons. In such cases, players usually buy only pistols and defuse kits (special forces team). Just in the eco-rounds you can demonstrate your aim. Training him in constant mode will always allow you to stay ahead of the enemy in the initial stages of the game. So, the standard pistols are the most suitable for accurate shooting for beginners. The thing is that they have minimal scatter. We are talking about the P2000 (replaced by the USP) and the Glock-18.
The first one has a smaller magazine (13 rounds), but differs in a lot of damage (almost equal to YPS).
The standard terrorist gun is the Glock. He has a more capacious magazine (20 rounds), but does less damage. Double Berettas will come down as a good option. The player with them has 30 rounds. However, you need to be careful with them, since they have a considerable spread when shooting too fast. The most advanced gun in the game is the Night Hawk. With skillful handling, he is able to destroy any opponent and even give the opportunity to play in the “one on three” mode with the opponent’s full buy. Nevertheless, to learn how to deal with him like that, it will take a lot of time and nerves, since the pistol has impressive returns and a large spread on the go.
Assault Rifle Training
The standard assault rifles for special forces and terrorist teams are respectively M4A4 (in standard form) or M4A1 (in replaced) and AK-47. First of all, let's talk about special forces. Until recently, M4A1 was of great value to players.
However, in recent updates, its damage was reduced, and the spread was increased. Nevertheless, M4A1 is still considered the best option, since the spread of M4A4 does not compare with it even with a “fixed” state. In some cases, a muffler is very helpful. However, in most cases, almost silent shooting is unmasked by an icon appearing on the minimap.
Now let's talk about the terrorist assault rifle. The AK-47 from its category is the most powerful weapon that does fatal damage. However, at the same time, it has a really huge spread when shooting with a clip. To spray from it is an extremely thankless task. But sometimes you still have to do this in a head-on collision at a short distance. A standard set of weapons does not cost so much money, and according to statistics, this is the most used equipment. Therefore, this fact requires players to enhance such a skill as aim. Training it will give you the opportunity to win rounds when handling standard weapons.
Aim training: shooting methods, their advantages and disadvantages
Aim training in CS: GO enhances target shooting skills. In addition, the player will be able to decide which type of shooting he would like to use more often than others. At the same time, it cannot be said that many adhere to just one type. Probably, you need to own all (three) methods at once, since they are ideal for each type of distance.
At short distances (including when shooting at close range), a method called a clamp is suitable. It consists in the fact that you just need to hold down the mouse button. The name, as you can see, was given to the method with a light hand. Since the enemy in front of you will occupy a considerable percentage of the space (or maybe even almost all), most of the shells will fall precisely into it. In this case, they often talk about "spray". The bottom line is that during the clamp, the player controls the mouse, pulling the sight to the most vulnerable parts (and this is the body and, of course, the head). However, spray at medium distances (especially from guns such as the AK-47) is more of a problem than a means of destruction.
By the way, at medium distances, the most suitable way is to shoot in bursts of 2-3 rounds. In some cases, you can use a spray, but only if the weapon has a small spread. These include, for example, the R-90 submachine gun.
At long distances, burst shooting is ineffective, but still has a place to be. However, firing on one cartridge with a quick displacement becomes the best option. This must be done in order to prevent the enemy from striking back. At the same time, you can control the scope so that you can shoot at the right time.
