It can often be found along the banks of rivers and lakes located in the European zone of our country, in the territory stretching from the Baltic to the lower reaches of the Don.
Derain red is a deciduous shrub, sometimes reaching four meters in height, it has a very branched crown and different in color drooping shoots of green and purple-red.
