Therefore, the beauty goddess Lada was especially popular with young couples who brought her a gift of berries, flowers, honey and live birds. Lada also patronized young mothers and their children. She was very loved by the Slavic people. Often organized holidays in her honor. The Slavs believed that the goddess listens to all requests and tries to fulfill them, so they called her affectionately Shchedrynya.
