For example, two glasses that have a thickness of 3 mm each, glued together with a film - this is a triplex of 6 mm. Then, through the distance frame, it is connected to another glass. It turned out one camera, but three glasses. Triplex can be 8 mm, in this case thicker glasses are used, that is 4 mm. Here for such an embodiment, the name "double-glazed window" may come up. At least here it is justified.
The triplex itself, consisting of two glasses, can also be called double, only the name "double-glazed window" here is not very suitable. After all, the glass here is glued and have no gaps. Triplex with different tinting is used on cars. It protects the driver from fragments that could get into it if the windshield cracked. The presence of a film makes triplex more reliable and beneficial for drivers.

For central Russia , a double-glazed window in which there are three glasses and two chambers with air spraying will be most suitable. In some cases, you can use an energy-efficient double-glazed window with argon.
It does not matter what you call a double-glazed window, the main thing is that it fully fulfills all the functions assigned to it, that is, it would be warm in your apartment. Here is the main criterion for choosing a double-glazed window. But the temperature in the apartment is affected not only by a double-glazed window. If you put windows made of plastic, then you should pay attention to the profile itself. In the apartment you need to install plastic with a box width of more than 62 mm. These can be profiles of different companies. Here it is more important not the name, but the temperature indicators of the system. If you have a cold winter, then a profile 74 mm wide and a double-glazed window 44 mm are more suitable here. Sometimes it is preferable to immediately choose an improved option so that then there are no additional problems.
