Ukhta is a Russian city in the Komi Republic, founded in 1929. According to the data obtained during the last census, about 98 thousand people live here today.

For the state, this city is of great industrial importance. However, in Ukhta there are not only oil producing enterprises, plants and factories. The cultural sphere of the city is represented by eight museums and theaters, as well as five sports complexes. The latter include the local Ice Palace.

The construction of the sports complex began in 2008, two years after the project of the Ice Palace was finally ready. The stadium was opened to the public on March 30, 2012.

Today, the Ukhta Ice Palace is a three-story building with a total area of ​​9.6 thousand square meters. m. The audience hall of the stadium is able to simultaneously accommodate up to two thousand people.

The full name of the sports complex is the Sergey Alekseevich Kapustin Ice Palace of Sports. S. Kapustin is a famous Soviet hockey player and Honored Master of Sports of the USSR, born in Ukhta in 1953.

The Ukhta Ice Palace hosts mass ice skating, classes at a local youth sports school, as well as various entertainment events in honor of the holidays. In addition, a fitness room is located on the territory of the sports complex, which includes a cardio zone and fitness equipment aimed at the development of all muscle groups.

A visit to the gym is available both as a one-time visit and on an ongoing basis. It is possible to purchase subscriptions for 4, 8, 10, 12 or an infinite number of visits. A single visit to the fitness room will cost from 200 to 250 rubles. Minors and students are given a discount upon presentation of the relevant documents.

In the days free from classes of the youth sports school, mass ice skating is held in the Ukhta Ice Palace.

On weekdays and weekends, the cost of one hour of skiing is 270 or 170 rubles for adults and 160 rubles or 80 rubles for children (up to 12 years old inclusive) with rental skates or with your own equipment, respectively.

On holidays, the price rises a little. For adults, an hour of skiing will cost 330 rubles or 200 rubles, for children - 190 rubles or 100 rubles.

The Ice Palace also provides its visitors with a sharpening service for skates with dull blades.

From Monday to Wednesday, the ticket office where you can buy tickets for the rink is open from 14:30 to 19 hours, on Thursday from 11:30 to 19 hours, on Friday from 14:30 to 20:10, on weekends from 13:15 to 20:10.
