Hockey, the rules of the game.

Everyone who plays hockey, the rules of the game are well known. However, few people know that the first hockey professional team was formed in nineteen four. It was a Canadian team, so Canada , of course, is considered to be the birthplace of this sport . Hockey, the rules of which were immediately established, very quickly gained great popularity. Already in the nineteen twentieth year, he was included in the Olympic Games. The established rules in hockey are still used all over the world. Of course, some changes were periodically made, but all of them gave the game even more dynamism, sharpness and entertainment.

As before, the game consists of three periods. The net time of each of them is determined by twenty minutes. The interval between periods is fifteen minutes. Each period is accompanied by a change of goal for each of the teams. After a face-off, the countdown of the game begins, and with the whistle of the referee it stops, these are the rules of the game of hockey. The referee shoots the puck between the sticks of both players facing each other.

In each team, the number of players is from twenty to twenty-five people. At the same time, six players from each team should be on the ice: a goalkeeper and five field players. However, at the appointed extra time, four players instead of five enter the field. During a game of hockey, the rules allow the player to be replaced not only in pauses, but also directly in the process.

In this sport, power struggle is also allowed. But here there are certain rules, which, unfortunately, are not always respected. It is forbidden to hold an opponent with a hand or club, hit with an elbow, or attack an player who does not own the puck. The steps are strictly forbidden. Some players knowingly violate the rules, provoking a response from the opponent. Others rely on their violations to go unnoticed by the judge.

As for the power struggle, before it was allowed only in the defense zone, and from the nineteen hundred and seventy years old, force-taking techniques were allowed throughout the field.

By the way, the puck was introduced into the game in a different way. The judge simply put her on the ice field, and at the same time shrugged the clubs of his opponents. Then, after the whistle, he bounced quickly to the side. And only after some time they began to throw the puck.

Hockey, the rules of which must be strictly observed, has its own system of fines. An offending player is usually penalized with a two-minute penalty. In the case of injury to the opponent, this time increases to five minutes. The player is serving a penalty on the penalty box. There is a so-called disciplinary removal, in which the player is removed for ten minutes or until the end of the game. The removed player is replaced in this case by another. Also, punishment can follow the whole team, for example, for violation of the number of members. In this case, a penalty can be served by any player of this team.

If a player went out one-on-one with the goalkeeper and a violation of the rules was committed against him, the referee has every right to appoint a free kick, called a shootout.

A situation may arise when a player comes out empty-handed one on one, and the rules are violated against him. In this case, the referee will score a goal, even if the puck has not visited the goal.

The main time of the game may end in a draw. Then additional time may be assigned. If the result is again a draw, then the outcome of the fight is decided with the help of shootouts - free throws. The winning team is superior to the opponent in the number of goals scored.

At present, women's hockey has gained active development, the rules of which are no different from men's hockey, and in terms of its entertainment it is not inferior to it. Women's hockey is also included in the Olympic Games.
