One of the most unusual, but at the same time amazing and magical, is a pattern called the Solomon Knot. Some craftswomen call it differently - “Solomon loops”.
What does this pattern look like?
Crochet “Solomon knot” is a light, airy and exquisite weaving, for the performance of which any yarn without exception is suitable. So, the “Solomon knot” crochet knits quite simply and quickly, you just need to understand the scheme. Work begins with a standard technique: you need to dial the very first, main chain of familiar air loops. Air loops are necessary, because only with the help of them you can attach to something: to a fabric or other pattern, and the lace itself will be much smoother and more beautiful. Now the loop remaining on the hook extends (how much depends on the desire of the craftswoman, it is this length that determines the length of the openwork cells), the crochet is performed. As a result, from the elongated loop, two whole working threads were obtained.
The next step is to pull the thread on the hook through the already made elongated loop. As a result, we have already three threads available for further work. Under the third (that is, the last made) thread, the hook is inserted, then the standard yarn is made, and the thread remaining on the hook is passed through the working thread. Two loops have already formed on the instrument, which are knitted together. This is the main cycle from which the work on the Solomon Knot pattern is built. Crochet you need to wield carefully, but not particularly ceremonial.
Continued knitting
To continue the knitting, you should stretch the thread on the hook so that again you get three working threads. The hook is inserted under the third thread, the yarn is made, the thread from the hook is stretched, as a result, there are already two loops on it that are knitted together. That's it, the chain is connected with knots of two elongated loops. The “Solomon knot” (crochet), the scheme of which is very simple, further knits like this: in the fifth loop of the air chain you need to knit one column without a crochet, stretch the loop formed. Now two knotted cells are knotted again right up to the very end of the row.
On the other side
Having finished knitting on one side, you need to deploy the work and continue on the other. The “Solomon knot” crocheted here is made of three loops. In the knots between the loops of the previous row, simple single crochet columns are knitted. Now you need to perform again already familiar two elongated loops with graceful knots, but between the elongated loops of the previous row, that is, into the knot itself, a crochet is crocheted. the result is an openwork, lightweight mesh.
