Description
The bush of this rose is sprawling and rather tall - in the southern regions it can grow up to 4 meters. Leathery large leaves have a dark green matte color. Around the beginning of July, the flowering period begins, and it lasts a whole month. The bush is covered with red flowers, whose diameter is about 8 cm. In one inflorescence, there can be up to 15 pieces. Terry flowers, their bright color fully justifies the name of the variety, which is translated from German as "flame dance".

Rose Flamentz was bred in 1955 and immediately gained great popularity among gardeners. They were ready to pay considerable money for seedlings and even stole them from other people's plots. This boom lasted about 10 years. Then, the hardy plant, which reproduces and assimilates well, appeared literally in every garden, as a result of which interest in it decreased. But after a while, the second peak of popularity of the rose Flamenza began, which continues to this day.

The reason for the increased demand was a number of advantages that the rose flamenz has. Many gardeners are already familiar with the Nordic nature of this plant. The rose bush perfectly tolerates winter without shelter. It is enough to bend the branches to the ground. This is one of the most winter-hardy varieties grown in our country.
Timely pruning and proper care allow the rose to grow in one place for up to 20 years or more. She is not afraid of diseases characteristic of other varieties. This is one of the few flowers that have earned the ADR certificate, which is usually given to the most resistant plants grown without chemicals.
Landing
Landing in spring or autumn. The first step is to choose a suitable place. A rose-climbing flamenant prefers areas well-lit by the sun and sheltered from the wind. Dig the soil to the depth of the shovel and prepare holes measuring 50x50 cm at a distance of at least one meter from each other. They are carefully shed with water and laid on the bottom of the soil mixture, consisting of manure and clay (2.5 and 5 kg, respectively) with the addition of two tablets of phosphorobacterin.
At the bush of a climbing rose, purchased for planting, the shoots and root system are pre-cut, leaving no more than 30 cm.For quick healing, as well as to protect the plant from infection, cuts on the roots should be treated with ash, and on the shoots - garden var.
Before planting, seedlings are recommended to withstand in water, which will accelerate their survival. Having placed the bush in the hole, it is gently covered with earth and lightly tamped.
Growing conditions
No peculiarities exist when growing such a flower as a climbing rose flametans - planting and caring for the plant are not much different from similar events for other varieties.
The main thing that is required for this species is top dressing, watering and loosening the soil. Fertilizer in the form of humus or compost is enough to apply once a year at the rate of a bucket per bush. It is imperative that at least once a season, feeding with mullein is required - fresh manure is bred with water and insisted for two weeks (for 2 buckets of manure - 200 liters of water). Pour a bucket into each bush. Such dressings significantly increase the intensity of flowering roses.
Loosening the soil in near-stem circles of the plant is carried out each time a solid, air-tight crust is formed. Mulching is more effective - it allows you to retain moisture and attracts worms and other beneficial microorganisms. Watering is recommended once a week.
