Roofing self-tapping screw - a hardware product that is intended for the installation of appropriate components and metal tiles. In appearance it is a metal rod with a screw thread. One end of the rod ends with a hexagonal head, the other with a drill (it can drill fixed material and the base). The sharpening quality of the tip and steel material eliminates the violation of the metal surface around the drilled hole. Such self-tapping screws are made both with a conventional drill and with a reinforced one.
To ensure waterproofing of the connection, the roofing screw is completed with a galvanized washer with a rubber gasket, which is made of modified artificial rubber. It is firmly pressed into the base of the aluminum washer. When screwing the screw in the skew zones and during the reloading process, the gasket exhibits plasticity properties. It is a sealing gasket. The rubber gasket is resistant to precipitation, ultraviolet, temperature extremes, and ozone.
