More recently, information appeared on the Web about how you can easily evade service in the ATO. It states that the draftee must write a statement on refusal to mobilize and indicate in it that he does not want to fulfill military duty due to the fact that martial law has not been officially introduced in the country. At the same time, it is absolutely necessary to bring two witnesses to the military enlistment office. However, lawyers report that in this way to avoid service will not succeed. They clarify that the unclaimed martial law and official conscription are not connected in any way. They also remind that for evading mobilization in Ukraine, draftees face a term of 2 to 5 years in prison.
Another common myth is deviation from religious service. It is known that a believer can not only kill, but simply take up arms. In fact, you can refuse to serve on religious grounds. However, in practice this happens quite rarely.
Mobilization in Ukraine. Who will be called next?
As we said earlier, this year the 7th wave of mobilization will begin. Perhaps every Ukrainian is interested in who will enter it. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reports that those citizens who have military specialties will be called up first. The age of mobilization in Ukraine is the most controversial. It is constantly changing. On the seventh wave will be called to men aged 25 to 60 years.

Evasion of mobilization in Ukraine is also possible if the conscript has health problems or an unbalanced psyche. Then a statement from the doctor will need to be attached to the application.
Features 7 mobilization
Unlike the first six waves of mobilization, the seventh, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, will be very different. The Ukrainian government decided this year to recruit a large number of contractors, promising future fighters a decent salary and rest in sanatoriums. Thus, it is planned to take only volunteers. This is due to the fact that the last two mobilization, according to experts, were a failure. It is known that some of the fighters even had a prison term.
It is worth emphasizing that the 4th wave of mobilization in Ukraine is still on the line of fire. Fighters drafted that year should be replaced by soldiers of the 7th wave.

Where and how is the summons given?
We recommend that you pay attention to the fact that now the military enlistment offices in Ukraine are working around the clock. It is for this reason that the conscript can get his subpoena even near a nightclub or cafe. Also, few people know, but the summons can now be handed over not only by the employee of the military registration and enlistment office, but also by the ZhEK employee, including the janitor. It is worth emphasizing that if you or your relatives signed the document of receipt, it is considered that the summons is handed over, and now you are officially a draftee.
Another place to get a subpoena is work. If the conscript is officially employed, he has a rather low chance of hiding from mobilization.
What diseases can I refuse to mobilize?
There is no liability for refusing to mobilize in Ukraine if the conscript has diseases with which military duty cannot be performed . If you do not want to be in the territory of the ATO, then first of all, study your medical record and undergo an examination. A 2008 decree of the Ministry of Defense states that citizens who have problems with the musculoskeletal and cardiovascular systems cannot serve. This also applies to those who have mental disorders, deafness and diseases of the visual organs.
Advocate Council
The famous lawyer Alexander Godetsky spoke about how to refuse to mobilize (Ukraine). He believes that wanting to call as many people as possible, the government and the military registration and enlistment offices are silent about many of the nuances. The Constitution of Ukraine, adopted in 1996, states that every citizen must defend his homeland in case an enemy attacks it. However, the president did not impose martial law. That is why at the moment the decree can be considered invalid. Due to this, any responsibility for refusing to mobilize in Ukraine can be canceled through the European Court of Human Rights.
The lawyer believes that mobilization is illegal. In his opinion, only policemen and volunteers should participate in anti-terrorist operation. Alexander also notes that in the case when a citizen has not undergone military training before forty years, he is deregistered. Such a person cannot be sent to hostilities. The lawyer also explained that the criminal liability for the fact that a citizen does not support the ATO is illegal. If the draftee in the military registration and enlistment office declares that he has a different point of view and will not participate in hostilities, he is deemed unfit. However, in practice this is not always the case.

It's no secret that another common option for evading mobilization is a bribe. The percentage of corruption in Ukraine over the past two years has increased significantly. And this is no accident, because few people want to be on the line of active hostilities. Today there are a large number of ads in which they offer to solve all problems for a considerable amount. It is known that most of these proposals are simply a hoax. Fraudsters disappear as soon as they receive money.
Already in the first month of hostilities in Ukraine, 4 fraudsters from various settlements were identified, the victims of which were more than 18 recruits. It is worth paying attention that giving a bribe to an official is prosecuted. In case of unwillingness to participate in hostilities, we strongly recommend that you solve the problem only by legal means.
