The acoustic panel is a special material that is used for soundproofing rooms. It can be used both in residential apartments and in the decoration of walls of professional recording studios, cinemas. These panels can be made of many materials and have different decorative designs.

The first type is most often mounted in professional studios, where you need not only protection from extraneous noise, but also improve the quality of the recording. Conventional smooth elements can be further wallpapered. However, now there are acoustic decorative panels that have a beautiful appearance, and do not require additional design.
Mounting Features
This is not hard to do, you just need to decide on the method of attachment: frame or frameless. In this case, either self-tapping screws (staples of the construction stapler) or glue are used. The second option is the most acceptable and often used. If you have chosen a frameless method of fastening, then in any case, the walls must be processed: cleaned and primed. The advantage of this method is that it practically does not take up free space.
If you want to apply the first method of fastening, then for this you will need to purchase a metal profile from which the frame will be made. In this case, the panels will need to be screwed with screws. Despite the fact that you have to tinker a bit with the metal structure, subsequently it will be much easier for you to mount the panels themselves. In addition, in this case, the elements can be reused.
