Coffee Bean Tree: Making Crown
To complete this wonderful craft you will need the following materials:
- coffee beans (packaging - 100 g);
- newsprint or a plastic children's ball (ball);
- fine twine;
- a twig from a tree or a piece of plastic pipe for the trunk;
- superglue and PVA glue ;
- a beautiful pot or glass;
- knife, scissors, threads, brush;
- various decorative elements (butterflies, bows, braid, etc.) for decoration.
The first step in making this charming craft will be the formation of the crown. To do this, take the newspaper and crush, giving the workpiece roundness.
Tip: it is not necessary to achieve perfectly correct outlines. The fantasy shape of the crown will give the craft a great naturalness and attractiveness.
Now you need to wrap the newspaper blank with food foil in order to maintain a given shape. Using a plastic ball, you will simplify your work and make the process of making craft "coffee beans tree" faster.

Now pull the branch (tube) out of the crown and pour glue into the holes, and then place it back into the crown blank. The trunk of the tree is almost ready. After making it, you can continue pasting the newspaper ball with coffee beans. If you use a plastic tube, you need to decorate it with twine, ribbons or cloth.
Coffee Bean Tree: Making a Pot
To design a container, you can pick up a small plastic pot or buy a large coffee mug. If you want to use a plastic flower pot, you need to beautifully decorate it. For this, a canvas rope or twine is suitable. It’s easy to make a container - you need to use a thin line in a circle to apply glue to the walls of the pot and carefully wrap them with twine.
Now you can begin to "assemble" the elements into a single composition. At the bottom of the pot, put a small piece of foil and place a layer of expanded clay, and pour glue on top of it. Thus, fill the entire pot with expanded clay, “flaking” each layer with superglue. At a depth of 2 cm from the top of the pot, insert the tree trunk covered with glue into the expanded clay. And add a layer of expanded clay to the edges of the container. Everything - your craft "coffee bean tree" is almost ready.
