Like other people, along with the Bretons and Redguards, they are descendants of the ancient race of the Nedis. During the great resettlement of peoples on the lands of Tamriel, they initially occupied Cyrodiil, which at that time was inhabited by elves. For a long time, the Skyrim imperial fashion could not defeat the wild elves and often became their slaves. This happened until the Alessia Queen of Slaves organized an uprising, as a result of which people were able to gain power over most of the continent and exterminate many dimensions.
In those days, the Altmers used the White Gold Tower, which helped them transform the climate into subtropical. The great conquerors of the empire, having conquered the main city, changed the climate to temperate, which suited them the most. Having made the Dragon Breakthrough, they carried out the process of reforming the environment, using the technologies of the creators of the world themselves.
Religiosity of the Imperials
Despite the fact that Alessia rebelled, people could not just take and destroy all the elves. They needed to find a compromise with them, according to which there would be no disagreement with the elves that were dominant at that time in the lands of Tamriel. To do this, she came up with an original solution: she created a divine pantheon, according to which the religion of two warring peoples intertwined. This allowed an end to hostility on religious grounds. Thus, the Skyrim Imperials and Altmeri were able to live in peace. It took several generations, but the result was worth it. Everything stopped going according to plan when the human hero Talos entered the divine pantheon. Elves did not like the fact that people revere the Altmer killer, which led to new conflicts.
Historical features
The Imperials have long been under the yoke of the elves. Nevertheless, in comparison with their Nordic relatives, they treated them more loyally. A special historical path made the Imperials proud and honest, but the opportunity to make concessions was not taken away by their enemies.
