In May 2013, Russian-speaking fans of the TES series saw an addition to the fifth part of the game - Skyrim Dragonborn. In it, the developers propose to visit the island of Solstheim, get acquainted with the new flora and fauna, explore many dungeons, and, of course, get involved in a dangerous and exciting adventure, the outcome of which will determine the fate of this place.
First introduction to Skyrim Dragonborn. How to start a quest?
When launching the game launcher, you need to make sure that opposite the name of the add-on in a small window there is a check mark. Without it, Dragonborn will not work. The further pace of events depends on how far the passage of the Skyrim game has gone. If the Greybeard recognized the character as Dragonborn, he can safely continue to run, solving his problems and completing tasks. In the nearest village, he will be attacked, from which the line of quests will begin. If the quest “The Way of the Voice” is not completed, the hero can also get to the island, but the central plot of the expansion will not capture the character in a vice until he gets the title of Dragonborn “officially”.
Walkthrough Skyrim Dragonborn: preparation
If you are going to plunge headlong into the investigation of the crimes of Mirak, you need to think about the things that the hero will fill the inventory before sending to the island. Solstheim, of course, has its own shops and artisans, but the choice of the goods they provide is poor enough when compared with the mainland. Flora is not diverse enough, so you should buy potions in advance, because the passage of the game "Skyrim Dragonborn" is not an easy task. It is advisable to bring along the best equipment available at the moment and a few soul stones if the character uses an enchanted weapon. The main thing is not to take anything superfluous, the hero will not receive his own house on the island soon.
Dragonborn
The passage of Skyrim Dragonborn begins with an unexpected attack on the character of a group of mercenaries in strange masks, throwing in his face the accusation that he is a false Dowakin. Having beaten off the attack and searched the bodies, one can find on one of them a note stating that the hero was ordered by an unknown person who signed Mirak, and the mercenaries hit the mainland from the island of Solstheim.

At the port of Windhelm is a ship under the control of Gyalund. The hero must convince him to go to the island. Immediately after arriving at Raven Rock, Adril Arano will come out to meet, interested in the objectives of the Dragonborn's visit to Solstheim. If you ask him about Mirac, the adviser will not be able to give a clear answer, but only direct the character to the Earth Stone. In the indicated place, a handful of local residents will be found, immersed in work and not noticing anything around. Elf Neloth will come to meet Dovakin, who will send him to the temple of Mirak. There, the hero will find even more enchanted inhabitants.
Temple of Mirac
From this moment, the passage of Skyrim Dragonborn begins to gain momentum. In the courtyard of the temple of Mirac among the zombie workers is a woman, Freya. She makes futile attempts to convince her friends to stop building. Freya escaped the influence of the spell of Mirac thanks to a magical amulet, and her father, part-time shaman of the skaals, protects the remaining tribesmen by maintaining a magic barrier. Together with a new acquaintance, the hero goes inside the temple.
This is not the only dungeon in Skyrim Dragonborn. Quests more than once will make you plunge into the enchanting atmosphere of unexplored ruins. The Temple is full of Mirac fanatics, revived durgas and previously unseen opponents - seekers. The location itself is rather big, but on the whole it is perceived and passed quite easily.
Sanctuary of Mirac
Having searched the first part of the temple, the heroes find the Sanctuary of Mirac. At the bottom is the Wall of Words, allowing Dovakin to study the word of power “Dragon Incarnation”. It is used according to the same rules as talent, that is, no more than once a day. This cry is of great importance in the Dragonborn expansion, and it is impossible to complete the quest line without it. Using the ability, the hero receives increased power of blows, strong armor and powerful screams. As soon as he learns the Word, sarcophagi will open behind him, from which several dragurges of various complexity will come out, among others there will be a particularly strong one - the key keeper. They can open a secret door hidden in the sarcophagus of the keeper.

Further passage of the location is no different from the usual dungeon exactly until the moment when the heroes get into a round room, in the middle of which there is a pedestal with a huge and strange "Black Book". As soon as Dovakin read it, he would be forcibly dragged into another dimension, called the Apocrypha, or in another way, the kingdom of the ancient Daedric prince Hermeus Mora. There Mirak will be waiting for him. No matter how much the character wants to fight him, now he will be pressed to the floor by a powerful force, deprived of the opportunity to move. The enemy will deliver a lengthy speech, at the end of which he will kindly demonstrate all three Words of the previously studied scream, summon a dragon and fly away on it, leaving his minions to finish off Dovakin. Having survived the terrible torment, the hero will return to the room with the book, where he will be waiting for the excited Freya.
She will tell that the character was simultaneously in the hall and was not, it was possible to look at him as well as through the hero. The completion of the quest will be sending to the village of Skaal, to the woman’s father.
The fate of the rocks
It only gets more interesting to play Skyrim Dragonborn. The Black Book: Awakening Dreams, the passage of which almost killed the hero, arouses interest in Storn. He makes the assumption that Mirac can be defeated only with the help of the knowledge that the first Dragonborn possesses. The character needs to go to the Syring Outpost and study the cry of “Subjugation of the Will,” with which you can free the Wind Stone.
Before you remove the curse, it is worth preparing for the battle. After using the cry on the Stone of the Wind, a new and very vile adversary, called the Lurker, will appear. The enslaved skaals will get rid of the spell and go home, and the elder of the settlement will tell you how to find and defeat Mirak.
Stone cleansing
The further passage of Skyrim Dragonborn is impossible without completing this simple but very annoying quest. The essence of the task is to cleanse other sacred stones existing on the island: Earth, Water, the Sun and the Beast. The algorithm of actions is the same as in the case of the Stone of the Wind.
Path of knowledge
The only way to defeat the first Dragonborn is to get the secret knowledge hidden on the pages of the Black Books. One wizard from the Telvani settlement, Nelot, was just interested in them. This time, the Skyrim game will surprise you in a very pleasant way. Passing this quest promises an exciting adventure in the sunken city of the Dwemer.
Having reached Tel Mitrin, one of the settlements of the island, the hero must head to the most important tower where Nelot resides. He tells that he knows where Dovakin's "Black Book" is located, in the Dwemer ruins, in which he had already been before, but did not have the opportunity to fully explore.
Together with the wizard, the hero will go to the ruins of the city of Nchardak. It was built by the oldest and, unfortunately, extinct civilization of the game "Skyrim". Passage of the location begins with the attack of the robbers who have chosen the surface of the ruins. Dovakin’s companion, fortunately, is fighting pretty well. After the battle, you should go to the building with a dome. Entrance into it is impossible without a special cube, but Nelot had already visited the city earlier, so he took one with him. By placing the artifact on a pedestal, you can continue the adventure. The first room into which the satellites will fall will be the reading room, in the middle of which the desired book is located under the glass. But to get it at this stage of the game is impossible. The wizard claims that you can get the artifact if you activate the steam boilers.
To do this, Dovakin together with Nelot will have to solve many puzzles.
Gardener people
The addition is almost complete. How to start the quest "Dragonborn: a gardener of people"? To do this, you need to cope with the puzzles of Nchardak and read the Black Book. In Apocrypha, Dowakin himself will be met by the Daedric Prince Hermeus Mora himself, he will offer him to quench his thirst for knowledge and use the huge library. Daedru was tired of Mirac’s desire to break out of his control, so he decided to help the hero cope with the first Dragonborn.
Similar locations have never been found in the game "Skyrim". The passage of the "Black Book" is carried out by moving from one chapter to another, the process itself is a simple puzzles and a battle with the local inhabitants, despite the permission of Herméus Mora, the character is extremely hostile.

Having reached the last book, Dovakin again meets the prince of cunning and knowledge, he forces him to conclude a deal - the second word of the cry “Subjugation of the will”, without which it is impossible to defeat Mirac, in exchange for a secret knowledge of the skaals. Storn agrees to help only if the hero completed the quest “Cleansing the stones”. The shaman will take the Black Book from the character’s hands and read it, before casting the phrase that there is nothing special in this knowledge, but the ancestors carefully passed them from one generation to another, and the curious Herméus Mora, who devoted his life to collecting various information, could not endure this. The Daedric prince will kill Storn in the process of absorbing knowledge, but in return will open to Dovakin the last word of the Scream, giving him the opportunity to subdue the dragons.
On top of the Apocrypha
This is the final assignment in addition to the Skyrim game. The passage of the quest begins after reading the Black Book "Awakening Dreams." As in the previous quest, the hero has to advance through the location, solving puzzles and fighting with lurkers and seekers.
The first chapter of the book does not raise questions, but the second is much more confusing. You need to climb the stairs and take the book "Infinite Limbs" from the pedestal, and only after that go to the third chapter. Having missed this small detail, you can get stuck in the passage of the chapter for a long time. The environment more and more resembles a maze. Passing through the level, it is important not to miss the books: “Submerging claws” and “Spying spheres”.
Moving on to the fourth chapter, the hero must go down the stairs. In one of the corridors he will have an unexpected meeting with local residents, after their death another corridor will appear. Examining it, you must not lose sight of the latest book, Toothy Blades. Now you can safely proceed to the fifth chapter, without fear of not picking up important items.
In the huge hall Dovakin will meet four pedestals, decorated with drawings. It is on them that you need to place previously selected books. "Immersing claws" to the appropriate caricature. “Peeping spheres” on the drawing of the eye, “Blades” to the image of the mouth opened in the grin, and the last on the tentacle symbol. A book will appear in the center, sending the hero to the sixth chapter.
Dovakin can only subdue with the help of the cry of a dragon and immediately learn how to ride a winged monster. In the game, the lesson will be shown only once, so you should carefully remember the dragon control buttons. The hero will battle with several seekers, you can do this on horseback in the reptile. After this, Sarotar will take the Dragonborn to Mirak, who is preparing for the battle. The enemy enlisted the support of two dragons, but in the battle they will have a very mediocre participation.
Each time the enemy is close to defeat, he gains invulnerability, during which he restores health by absorbing reptile souls, first those that he himself called for, after and Saratora. When there will be no one to sacrifice, you can safely increase the pressure. This time, after reducing Mirac’s health to a critical point, Herméus Mora himself appears, wishing to personally get even with his former subordinate. Before death, the first Dragonborn will wish the hero a repetition of his fate.
This episode puts an end to Skyrim Dragonborn. Passage of quests of the central storyline is completed. However, these are not all the surprises of the island. Walking around Solstheim, you can find many interesting assignments, as well as Black Books, the reading of which will bring Dovakin many useful abilities. In the Raven’s wing, you can start an investigation of the crime. At first glance, an innocent and quick quest turns into a series of confusing incidents that the hero will have to face. As a reward, he will receive a house on the island and a quarrel with the Dark Brotherhood of Morrowind. Many dungeons will delight you with generous treasures and new Screams.
