Shimmering Titanite is one of the most sought after resources in the Dark Souls game series. It was difficult to get it in any part of the line, but to strengthen the character you must constantly hunt for him. Developers in all three games left places for players to find titanite for themselves, and you need to know each of them.
Resource Use
All items in the game are divided by quality and strength. Normal armor and weapons are improved in a standard way, but if the blade has a unique effect, then only flickering titanite can help with strengthening. The material is able to improve the characteristics of weapons or armor to +5 (+4 in the second part). First, fragments from this resource are spent, and then the whole pieces.
The maximum step is considered hardening for ten units. Only swords with different effects or the powerful blade of the Black Knight are worth upgrading. You should farm the materials at any convenient opportunity, so that, having found powerful equipment, immediately begin to improve it.
Resource in the first part
Any gamer should know that in the first part of Dark Souls, flickering titanite can be obtained in two ways. The first involves its purchase from two NPS. A giant blacksmith for eight thousand will give one unit of material, and Snuggly will exchange it for moss of any variety. In addition, several pieces of the resource lie on the corpse of the top floor of the tower to the right of the stairs in the Duke Archives location. The second method involves the killing of different monsters from which flickering titanite falls (a chance of not 100%).

The best location for such an activity would be a cavity where ten lizards move. On average, two pieces of material will fall for killing an entire pack. In the Crystal Grotto, after killing the boss, it is possible to light a flame by the fire, and then giant mollusks will appear. With them, the chance of titanite falling is higher. And if you put on a ring with a golden snake and pump the ability to search for objects up to 410, then the extraction of the item will be easy and easy.
Farm in Dark Souls 2
In the continuation of the series, the developers did not change the improvement system. The main character will continue to collect such a resource as shimmering titanite to improve powerful equipment. Dark Souls 2 has more space for mining resources. Two units are hidden under the bridge in the location of Lothrick's Castle, and three more are waiting for the user in the room with the legionnaire knight (see chests). The Ancient Dragons Peak location hides five pieces of titanite from the user. The first two are near the wyvern balcony. You must jump and climb up. The next three are placed in chests on the way, and each of them is guarded by a stone lizard.

You can also buy the resource from the merchant Serokrys and the handmaid. The first has three of them, and the second has an unlimited number, but subject to the transfer of such an object as the ashes of the dragon chaser. The playerβs resource of interest continues to fall from all types of lizards, as well as ancient wyverns, which are mini-bosses.
Titanite in Dark Souls 3
The third part of the game world takes much longer than the first two. That is why flickering titanite is present in Dark Souls 3 in a greater amount than in previous projects. Its largest number is located in the Dragon Sanctuary location (17 pieces). Search all the corpses in the room with the knights, as well as the skeletons near the bonfires found on the way. Eight more units of the resource can be found in chests, one of which is near the first revolving door, and the second - at the top of the stairs, where thorns are produced. There will be three titanites in the Darkwood location on the corpses under the aqueduct and near the door of the Ornifex room. Another nine pieces are in the Misty Tower. Search every corpse, chest and skeleton on the way of passing missions. Most resources are found in exactly this way, no matter what the territory.
