Charming begonia. Tuber planting

Let's talk about how to plant a tuberous begonia. Begonia itself is an unpretentious plant. And so that it does not just please the eye, but is a decoration of the garden, it should be carefully taken care of. Tuberous begonia, planting of which requires fertile soil with top dressing (both organic and mineral), is worth all the time it takes - this plant is charming. The essence of planting is that the top of the tuber should rise and be sprinkled. The root is small, so watering is often required. In this case, you should ensure that the roots do not rot. To do this, it is enough not to pour water.

Begonia is a photophilous plant, therefore, for normal growth, you should not limit it in good lighting. The plant itself is not bad to place on the east or west side of the house. Thus, there will be enough light, but overheating will not occur. Since begonia loves abundant watering, it is better to spray the air around the plant well.

If the plant is exposed to direct sunlight, then burns may form on the leaves. If access to direct rays is not available, and the leaves are yellow, then begonia needs to be fed or not plentiful watering (however, there are opposite situations). If the plant still needs more moisture, then this can be determined by the leaves. In such a period, they dry out. And if the buds fall, then there is an excess of watering.

The main task when caring for begonia is to maintain a healthy soil condition. Tuber begonia requires a special land, namely nutrient soil. If you have dense soil, then you will need begonia hybrids. The ideal soil for the plant is a mixture of hardwood and sand with peat (3: 1: 1), with the addition of organic fertilizers.

By summer, you need to prepare all the necessary conditions so that your begonia grows and decorates the garden. Tuber planting begins in early June. Indoors, it is possible to plant a plant in mid-May. If a sharp temperature decrease is planned, then the seedlings should be covered. It is good to harden, taking the sprouts out into the open air for a while. If you have purchased begonia, tuberous planting, of course, is not needed - you just need to transplant the flower. When caring for a plant, do not forget about daily watering. When planting on a flower bed, you should be careful, otherwise the plant may die if you accidentally break the stem.

If seedlings are grown from seeds, then it sits 2 cm deeper into the soil. In any case, very soon you will grow a beautiful begonia. Tuber planting occurs at a distance of 30 centimeters between plants.

If the care is of high quality, then the plant develops healthy, that is, it pleases with its flowering and appearance in general. The basis of courtship, as described above, is proper watering. It is best to water the plant in the morning, as the moisture evaporating during the day, as you know, is absorbed. The main development of begonia occurs in the summer, therefore it is important to develop resistance to stuffy warm air in the plant. This requires processing with special growth substances. If begonia grows in containers, then it requires spraying with warm water (in the morning and in the evening). In order for the foliage to also be healthy, after planting in the ground, the plant should be fed with nitrate (then complex fertilizers). The main thing is not to harm fertilizers, that is, use a minimum of nitrogen.

Since begonia takes root over time, it is important that the soil is loose and free of weeds. Tall plants should be tied to a support, protecting the stem from fractures.

Incorrect begonia care can lead to illness. For example, such as powdery mildew or rot. Powdery mildew appears in extreme heat and moisture. If signs of the disease are noticed on the leaves, then they should be removed. Rot appears in damp weather or in cold weather. It should also be remembered that the plant requires treatment against parasites.

Your begonia will delight your gaze all summer. Landing and care are not as difficult as you might think. And the result is worth the effort.
