The main development of begonia occurs in the summer, therefore it is important to develop resistance to stuffy warm air in the plant. This requires processing with special growth substances. If begonia grows in containers, then it requires spraying with warm water (in the morning and in the evening). In order for the foliage to also be healthy, after planting in the ground, the plant should be fed with nitrate (then complex fertilizers). The main thing is not to harm fertilizers, that is, use a minimum of nitrogen.
Since begonia takes root over time, it is important that the soil is loose and free of weeds. Tall plants should be tied to a support, protecting the stem from fractures.
Incorrect begonia care can lead to illness. For example, such as powdery mildew or rot. Powdery mildew appears in extreme heat and moisture. If signs of the disease are noticed on the leaves, then they should be removed. Rot appears in damp weather or in cold weather. It should also be remembered that the plant requires treatment against parasites.
