Andrey Salov: biography
A science fiction writer was born in Magnitogorsk, Chelyabinsk Region, in 1969. He graduated from the same school as a medical assistant. Andrey's education is an incomplete higher education. He studied four courses at the philological faculty of the university in his native city.
After studying, he served in the army for two years. Andrey Salov served on the Chinese border, at the Uzengegush outpost, in the ranks of the KGB border troops. The author of works in the genre of fiction - a participant in the hostilities and counter-terrorism operations in the Caucasus from 2002 to 2003.
Since 2004, he has been working at OJSC Magnitgorstalkonstruktsiya, specializing in gas cutting. In 2007, a son was born in Andrei's family.
Creative way
Andrei Salov began writing in the army. He devoted all his free time to creativity. The environment contributed to this - remoteness from settlements, majestic and severe Tien Shan mountains. The first publications appeared in the press in 1990. It was published in the newspaper Magnitogorsk Worker, Voice of the Magnitogorsk Youth, Magnitogorsk Metal.
In 1991, Andrei Salov participated in the international convention of science fiction writers. In Chelyabinsk, Andrei was admitted to the Writers' Union in 1999, later - in 2000 - approved in Moscow. In 2004, his works were published in the collection “Field of Inspiration”, dedicated to the seventieth anniversary of the Chelyabinsk region.
