Once the king and the prince quarreled. And he first decided to take revenge on his comrade, to hurt him. The king called the executioner and ordered him to kill his wife and see if the prince would cry. The man fulfilled the “request” of the king, chopped off the woman’s head. The prince did not cry . The king, without thinking twice, ordered the children to be killed. The prince did not cry. And the king entered into excitement, so he was not going to stop; he really wanted to see the tears of strangers, so his parents became the next victims of the executioner. The prince did not cry. Only the best friend, whom the king ordered to kill, like the rest, remained from his relatives. Here the prince burst into tears, so sadly that even the cruel and heartless executioner burst into tears with him.

“Why didn’t you shed tears after the death of your parents, children, and your wife,” the astonished king asks, later summoning the prince to himself, “and after the death of a friend was he so upset?”

“The parents were already old,” the prince answers, “they would soon have died.” It is not difficult to find a new wife; she will be able to give birth to children to me. But to find a friend - oh how difficult. Many years must be spent to find a true, faithful friend. Therefore, I mourned only him.

Once lived in a house a drunkard. And he had two pets: a cat and a dog. The latter constantly argued among themselves which of them was the true friend of the owner, and each tried to drag the blanket over himself.

Once the drinker ran out of money, and he wanted to drink unbearably. The cat immediately jumped to the owner and said, saying: "Sell me, get money, buy a drink, and as your best friend I will run away from the buyer and turn to you."

The drunk sold the cat, bought a drink, returned home to pump himself with alcohol, and there he was met by a dog. And not anyhow he meets, but with a bark, from which a man drops a bottle and breaks it, pouring a strong drink. The drunkard angered, beat the dog, and she didn’t even try to run away and did not resist at all, she only condemned:

- Beat, master, beat, just do not drink.

At this time, a cat came. She looked arrogantly at the dog and again called the owner to the bazaar to repeat the previous fraud. Soon the drunkard returned with a new bottle. And he had already opened it to drink the beloved's alcohol, as the dog again prevented him. So she yelled and growled that the vessel with alcohol involuntarily slipped out of her hands a second time. The man got angry more than ever, with a new force began to pound the dog and say: “I will kill!”

“Kill, master,” the pet says humbly, “kill, just don't drink!”

Suddenly it came to the drunkard, what was the matter. He realized who his true friend was. And he began to apologize to the dog, stroking it and hugging it. And the cat, which was soon announced, the man sold again, however, this time so far that she could not find her way home.

The bottom line is that the dog did not want its owner to spoil his health, because alcohol does not bring anything good. The cat, in turn, only wanted to show the owner how good she is, they say, helps him. The man understood this. Maybe not right away, but still I understood.

Love and friendship are closer than it might seem at first glance, much closer. It often happens that two people of the opposite sex first have a friendly relationship, after which they enter into a different, more spiritual relationship. And this is good, because before that, these people have already had a certain relationship: they know each other, they know the tastes of their soul mate, they know what she likes. That is why any parable about friendship and love should make it clear to people how important these relationships are and how close they are when it comes to two people. True, the minus is that love is more fleeting, friendship is real friendship forever.
