Daedric Artifacts in Skyrim: Hirsin's Totems

Many gamers choose the werewolf path in Skyrim. It is understandable, because in the guise of a beast, the protagonist receives inhuman strength and endurance, which helps him to win in battles. However, not everyone knows that with the help of daedric artifacts, which are called Hirsin's Totems, a werewolf can get additional opportunities. This will be discussed in the article.

Description

Once upon a time, Hirsin, known as the forefather of all werewolves, created four totems. Since then, almost any resident of Nirn, suffering from lycanthropy, wants to get them. Of course, this is far from being possible for everyone, but those werewolves who nevertheless were able to take possession of at least one of the artifacts will forever enter their name in history thanks to their new opportunities.

For example, the shaman of the skaals used only one totem to awaken a very powerful primitive magic. With the help of relics, they summoned powerful spiritualistic animals, which, not knowing fatigue, cracked down on the enemies of the tribe.

At the time of Skyrim’s operation, the Hirsin totems were lost, and Dovakin, as you might guess, would need to start looking for them. This is not an easy task, but the reward fully justifies the effort.

Getting

In only one way in the game, you can get Hirsin Totems - completing the quest of the same name. The problem is that this task is included in the Companion's storyline and becomes available only at its very end. In other words, you will have to go through many other quests first in order to eventually get the one you need.

In particular, you should have completed the mission "Last Duty." As soon as you complete it, go to Eila and talk to her. The huntress will give you the coordinates of one of the totems and ask you to bring him to the Companions abode.

Passing the quest "Hirsin's Totems" is not particularly sophisticated. You just go to Eila and she tells you the place where you need to look for another artifact. Then you go to the dungeon, exterminate the evil spirits living there, and then bring the totem to the Companion’s abode. And so three times.

Special properties

As mentioned earlier, all Hirsin Totems have unique effects. Here they are:

  1. The howl of the pack - gives the werewolf the opportunity to call two wolves for help.
  2. The smell of blood - allows one minute to see all living things in a certain radius. Acts through walls.
  3. Roar of rage - scares people and creatures below level 25.

Unfortunately, the fourth totem cannot be obtained in the game. Also note that only one unique skill can be active at a time. However, you can switch between them by visiting the abode of the Companions.
