Executive bodies located in this territory are created locally.

All employees of these institutions are engaged in management activities. They carry out various functions of managing subordinate structures and directions. This does not apply to maintenance personnel, that is, to those employees who only provide conditions for the fulfillment of their authority.

The overwhelming majority of such bodies are represented by persons occupying high positions (President, governors). They are both the executive branch and the legislative branch in one person. In some entities, the head is a collegial body. This means that it includes several people.

The powers of the heads of entities are determined by the Basic Law of the State - the Constitution of the Russian Federation - or legislative charters. Heads of the country, cities, districts, regions are selected by voting.

The powers of the person representing the authority cease in the event of:

  • travel abroad for permanent residence;
  • voluntary dismissals;
  • resignation if the legislative bodies of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation
    have grounds to express their distrust to this person;
  • the occurrence of liability under a guilty verdict,
  • recognition of incapacity
  • death or missing persons.

In the event of termination of the work of the head of the subject, the person who has been recalled must receive information about this from the local election commission. The President of the Russian Federation may, according to the relevant documents received from the head of the federal prosecutorโ€™s office, remove the head of the entity (temporarily) from the workplace.

If this person has ceased to work, the executive authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation are obliged to nominate new candidates for consideration. In cases where it is not possible to find a suitable person for a given position, the President appoints him independently. But he does it too for a temporary period.

authorities of the subjects of the Russian Federation
Executive authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation are subordinate to the President and the Government. They adopt laws and amendments on the basis of all the provisions of the Constitution of the country and cannot act without agreement with them. Actions that do not comply with the laws of the Russian Federation may lead to criminal penalties. In this regard, the authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, before creating a decree or amendment to the law, send it for consideration to the Government of Russia.

When talking about a collegial body, this means that a senior official is not appointed in it. Decisions are made collectively. The responsibilities of these bodies include the following:

  1. To carry out the economic and social formation of the subject.
  2. Create the best conditions for individual entrepreneurship.
  3. To safeguard and protect all the rights of citizens.
  4. Engaged in the external economic development of the subject.
  5. Protect natural resources.
  6. To exercise control over all organizations and departments in the subject.
  7. Engage in budget development and its proper allocation.

All of these responsibilities that are performed by executive authorities of constituent entities of the Russian Federation must comply with all laws of the Russian Federation.
