Vedeneev Vasily Vladimirovich - Soviet, Russian writer. Known for his work in the genres of detective, adventure and science fiction. As a regular police officer, he was one of the best operatives in Moscow. He was a teacher at the Moscow Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. He took part in the counter-terrorist operation in Chechnya, where he led the combined police unit. The employees who knew him during the period of joint service state that he was a real Russian officer.
The beginning of the biography
Vedeneev Vasily Vladimirovich was born on March 1, 1947 in the city of Moscow. The birthplace of the future writer was the famous Taganka district. Childhood passed in the still not rebuilt, remembering many famous people cozy courtyards of old Moscow. Talking about those times, Vasily said that from the very first days of his life he was surrounded by the love and care of his parents. These are well-educated people, intellectuals, cultural and educated. His grandmother, Varvara Vasilievna, especially guarded his childhood.
Studying at school, at the institute
He studied at the famous 330th secondary school in Moscow. This educational institution is known for the fact that such distinguished persons as J. Kesler, a doctor of chemical sciences, the author of more than 200 scientific papers, studied there; M. Markov - academician of the USSR Academy of Sciences; I. Oistrakh - violinist, people's artist of the USSR; V. Leventhal - People's Artist of the USSR; I. Buldakov, A. Stepanov - winners of the Olympic Games; D. Lilienberg - geographer, laureate of the USSR State Prize; L. Yakubovich - Honored Artist of Russia, a well-known host of television programs, as well as many others.
After graduating from school, Vasily began to work, changed several various positions and professions. In the end, he became a laboratory assistant at the Department of General and Analytical Chemistry of the V. Lenin Moscow State Pedagogical Institute at the Faculty of Chemical Biology. He combined his work with studies at the evening department of this institute, at the Faculty of Chemistry. According to Vasily Vedeneev, at that time he dreamed of reaching heights in studying the problems of metal corrosion, becoming a chemical scientist. However, his plans were not destined to come true.
The beginning of a career in the Ministry of Internal Affairs
In mid-1968, the party and Komsomol organizations of the institute sent him to work in police bodies. He had to graduate from the Faculty of Chemistry of the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute named after V.I. Lenin, already being a staff member of law enforcement agencies.
At the beginning of the seventies of the last century, Vasily Vedeneev graduated from the Kalinin school of advanced training for senior police officers (currently the Tver branch of the Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia named after V. Ya. Kikot). At the end of the seventies he entered the full-time department of adjunct studies of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR. After 3 years, he successfully graduated with the defense of a dissertation on a closed topic, which dealt with the problems of preventive measures against repeat offenders.
Work in law enforcement
As a candidate of legal sciences, he became the author of several textbooks of an educational and methodological nature on closed issues relating to the activities of operational officers of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs. He also published in the specialized literature a number of articles relating to special topics of operational investigative activities.
After graduating from the graduate school, he continued to serve in the units of the Moscow Criminal Investigation Department, in the central units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR and the Russian Federation. He served in law enforcement agencies in various positions, mainly in management. The military rank is the colonel of militia.
He was a war veteran. During the counter-terrorist operation in the North Caucasus, he led the combined police unit. At the same time, he did not stop searching for his place in literature.
Writing
Vasily Vedeneev began his writing career in the mid-seventies of the last century. He told about that time that he really wanted to convey to the public what was really happening in an environment where law enforcement agencies and the criminal environment confront each other. He did not share laudatory remarks regarding popular works about the adventures of the “cops” and “Kamensky,” considering the work of the Interior Ministry officers described in these works to be far from reality.
However, he quickly became convinced that the truth was uninteresting for a variety of reasons. She, as a rule, does not touch readers, does not “catch”. But he tried to convey his stories to them all the same as as close as possible to harsh reality.
Talking about himself, Vasily Vedeneev reported that no one had taught him writing. Help in this difficult matter was rendered to him by good people who nevertheless met on his life path. However, he worked on his works only himself, tried to rely on his own strengths.
For works, I took plots from my own practical work, as well as from materials that were provided by colleagues.
The author Vasily Vedeneev wrote his books very carefully, without templates, in an original way. In one of the interviews, he said that a good romance cannot be created in 2-3 months. He wrote one novel in 7 months, the book has withstood 6 editions. However, the author believes that this is nonsense. To create one book, even if all the material is available, he needs more than a year.
Worked the old fashioned way. Vasily Vedeneev believed that only hand-written works have a right to exist. However, he himself used a typewriter, as he differed, in his opinion, in a disgusting handwriting. Until his very last days, Vasily Vedeneev did not recognize a computer. He considered him a mindless, soulless machine. He spoke - this is an assistant, but not a comrade in creative work.
